Square Grandma style pizzas are really good. So rare to find grandma pizza any so to see that they serve their GF pizza in this style (think shallow deep dish) is a treat. Crust has a thickness and chewy texture that’s just right. Honestly can’t imagine the regular grandma is much different.
The kitchen space is shared so cross contamination is possible fir sure. I didn’t ask to what extent they prep separately or not. There are other locations throughout LA (Downtown, Burbank and West LA).
Really a rare pizza treat that differs from the standard thin crust experience. Hopefully someone here can dive deeper into their preparation.
