SO SO GOOD!! The owner is celiac and trains his staff to know all about it. I felt really safe even though some items are not GF (exceptions, because most things are GF), because the whole staff knew exactly what to do. And the fryer is safe! I had an amazing poutine.

Owner has celiac disease and all his staff is knowledgeable about cross-contamination so they are very careful in the kitchen. GF plates are well identified to differentiate them when served at your table. Although some items on the menu contain gluten, most of the menu is gluten free or can be adapted for a GF version. Many options, friendly service, great place and delicious food! I go often and always have a memorable time there.

Had a great experience here. Everything on the menu can be made GF. GF food comes on separate coloured plates with markers on it. I didn’t feel sick after, but they can’t guarantee no cross contamination.

After a frustrating week staying Montreal, I finally found a restaurant I could trust. They had a gf menu, the food was delicious and I had a gf beer too! If you are in the downtown area, you have to try this little pub. Also, the server advised me that the owner had Celiac Disease and understood the need to avoid cross contamination. My husband and I both had the Classic Burger with fries.

So many gf options! Only the Mac and cheese wasn’t gf. Their fryer is dedicated gf. The items were flagged gf when they came out. Ordered the poutine and burger. Poutine was amazing - big portion and crispy fries.

They proactively told me the French fries were in a separate fryer and the whole menu could be gluten free except for the Mac and cheese. The food was delicious. My only complaint is that the poutine had cheddar cheese instead of cheese curds.

Que le propriétaire soit coeliaque ne change pas le fait que le risque de contamination est très présent. J’aurais plus confiance si c’était le cuisinier qui était coeliaque. La preuve c’est que les desserts identifiés sans gluten ne le sont pas, il est clairement écrit sur les sites des deux compagnies que les produits sont faits dans un environnement où d’autres produits contenant du gluten sont aussi faits. La première fois où je suis allée, ça s’est bien passé. Hier, c’était ma 2e fois et j’ai l’impression d’être contaminée. Pourtant, j’ai mangé le même plat principal, pas d’entrée, pas de dessert sauf un café alcoolisé. Les frites sont super bonnes, la bavette aussi.

Blah I had come two times to this place with my coeliac partner before and it had been great so we thought it was a safe bet, but we went yesterday and though the food was delicious he has a huge flare up and we were supposed to have a trip this weekend and everything is ruined :(

This restaurant is perfect for anyone with celiacs. They have a dedicated kitchen in addition to well informed and accommodating staff. I am very sensitive to gluten and am often very nervous when eating out (cross contamination is my bitch). However, I felt very safe eating a this restaurant- including their gluten free burgers with actual gluten free buns! A little side note though, this restaurant is a bar so you must be +18 to eat there.

I had the chicken Cesar and the poutine, either of which could have been more than enough for a meal on its own, and made for sizeable leftovers. This place is excellent and I highly recommend it.

Restaurant/comedy club. Anyone under 18 can not be inside during the show but there is plenty of outdoor seating and a wonderful staff. The food was delicious, especially the poutine and arancini which we were very excited to have. Dinner was an overall lovely experience

We had such a great, positive experience eatibg here for dinner. I have a severe wheat allergy and a less severe dairy allergy. They offered a GF menu upon entering, the talked to the kitchen and then spoke to me again about my allergies.. He even brought the food out himself to make sure. He explained that the owner is celiac so takes this very seriously. I had the deluxe burger w fries and salad and honestly was one of the best burgers a d fries I've had. Fryer is dedicated GF.. honestly, couldn't have had a better experience. Highly recommend. My family also loved their food, including the poutine.

My daughter has celiac disease and was turned away from multiple restaurants in the city because of this. When we arrived at this restaurant they had a gluten free menu and were knowledgeable and understanding about my daughter’s allergies and celiac disease. The waiters were friendly and willing to help out. We went back twice in our stay in Montreal. The food is delicious, my husband and I are both not celiac and we had great meals there. We would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good meal!

Incredible place! Most of the menu is gluten free so there is no worry about cross contamination as the staff knows their business. I went there a couple of times and had an amazing experience. Great poutine and arancini, their ceaser salad is also amazing and their burguer is one of the best gluten free burgers I ever had. And the environment is also amazing, very adult, great for date nights and with friends too. Definitely my favorite in Montreal.

What great service - and what a great meal. The owner has celiac - so almost anything on the menu can be Gluten Free. This includes the amazing brownies, wings, falafel, poutine, and bacon wrapped dates (my teenage sons tried them and loved them). If you have celiac and find yourself in Montreal - this is a must visit place.

Excellent experience. Knowledgeable, very careful - two daughters have Celiac and we had no issue. Bread on burger was great - “Everything but Gluten” brand. Fries amazing. Dedicated fryer.

Note - if you are under 18 you must eat outside. No cover where we ate - so be sure you have good weather.

What a treat of a pub! The staff was super knowledgeable about gluten free; a gluten free menu was provided and they outlined the measures the kitchen goes to to ensure absolute minimum cross contamination. The owner is celiac and has definitely established a solid pub experience for celiac’s. Dietary restrictions were recorded on the order, and every meal that arrived was described and noted as gluten free. I really enjoyed the french fries and caesar salad! Would definitely return!

Very welcoming atmosphere. 2 of us in the group were GF, and one vegetarian- choices for us all. There is a separate gf menu but nearly all items on the larger menu are gf, and clearly marked. Staff were very accommodating & knowledgeable about GF, and I was told the chef is also celiac. There is a separate kitchen area for GF only and a dedicated fryer. The food was good, service was timely, portions a good size and very reasonable prices. Glütenberg beer in the can , regular beer on tap. Definitely recommend!

Almost the entire menu is gf - only exception is the mac and cheese. The servers were very good in understanding the severity of celiac and my food came out marked. I had the poutine. It was quite good and I was super excited to have poutine again, especially with a dedicated fryer! Only complaint is that they didn't use cheese curds, and their gravy was a bit tangy. They complimented each other well though but I would recommend getting meat with it if you can :). My (non-gf) boyfriend got the mac and cheese and said it was quite good as well (NOT gf though!!)

Best pub experience ever! The food, the service, all of it!! Management spoke to myself (celiac) and reassured me that they had a separate GF kitchen space and the boss was celiac themselves. I can’t remember the last time I had poutine - and OMG was it good!! And the brownie for dessert?! Yes please. Will definitely go back

There is separate kitchen space to prepare the GF food. Dedicated fryer and super knowledgeable staff who made sure that my Celiac daughter felt safe and enjoyed her meal. She felt fine after eating here. Highly recommend.

Although the service was great, we were disappointed to find out that the fryer had been contaminated with gluten recently. As a result, we were quite limited in what we could order. It was a real shame as this place normally has a lot of celiac-safe options.

Almost everything on the menu could be done gluten free. Staff was really knowledgeable and my meal even came out with a little gluten-free sign :) cool to be able to order pub food and have a drink like that!
