Almost everything can be made gluten free. The hostess eats GF and she made me feel very comfortable. Our server was knowledgeable and when he didn’t know something he checked with the kitchen. I ate very well. I had the Brussels sprouts and the seafood risotto. Both delicious. I even had dessert which I don’t usually do in restaurants as the gluten-free offerings are usually not that interesting to me. But the Panna cotta with a yummy sauce, poached plum and walnuts was out of this world.

The place was very nice and the food was delicious. The waiter was attentive and seem aware of gluten allergy. However, my partner who is celiac still got glutened. I leaves us with a mixed feeling about this place…

My partner brought me here for date night. He called ahead of time and confirmed that they understand cross contact and have a gluten free fryer. Our server wasn’t the most knowledgeable but every time I had a question they couldn’t answer, they quickly went back to the kitchen and got the answer for me. I was told that everything but the toasts could be made GF. When my food was brought out, the server always said it was safe for celiac. Overall, I felt very safe given that their menu isn’t marked with GF options.
The food itself was fine but not amazing. We started with two veg starters: fried mushrooms and carrots. Both were good, not great. I wanted to try the burrata but it is normally served with focaccia. The server didn’t clarify whether they had GF focaccia, but I also didn’t ask. For our mains we had the scallops and pork chop. I don’t think we realized that both were just plates of protein without much else. The pork was fine—a little dry and mostly uninspiring. The scallops were very sandy but tasty.
The dessert menu was a surprise, because most of it was or could be made GF. I wanted to try the key lime pie, made with oats, but felt like asking whether the oats were certified GF was too much—for me, and for the server. If restaurants want to accommodate GF customers, I wish they would provide the information necessary for us to know whether the food is safe.

Fantastic dinner. Waiter was knowledgeable about all menu items. The fryer is cross contaminated but other than that most menu items are or can be modified to be gluten free.

This is my go-to “nice dinner out” place. The food is delicious, and the waitstaff has been very attentive and knowledgeable. I am quite sensitive and have never been glutened. And they give you HOT ROLLS!!!
The BBQ beet dish surprised me into liking beets!
I only wish my budget extended to eating here more often!

Not a huge selection for gluten free (and the required modifications were sometimes just 'eliminations') but the food we could get was good. A number of (non GF) people had recommended P&C to me for the quality of the food and while it was good, it probably wont be my go-to.

The staff is so knowledgeable and kind. They even had fresh gluten free rolls that were delicious! The kitchen is willing to modify dishes (e.g. omit fried elements from the shared fryer) to make them safe. I love this restaurant and feel so safe eating here!

Last night we went to Puritan & Company in Cambridge. It was SPECTACULAR! I called ahead explained all the allergies (gluten, dairy, and cinnamon) they accommodated it all!! They are very knowledgeable about Celiacs. We did the chefs tasting menu and they even have gluten free Parker Rolls!! It was such a wonderful feeling to have a nice meal, which I feel like I haven’t done since the beginning of the pandemic! I would highly recommend a trip to Puritan & Company for a fancy or everyday meal!

Great place! They made sure to note which dishes were gluten free when delivering to the table, which was helpful with shared dishes. They pan-fried a dish that typically goes in the fryer without me asking about the fryer. Beyond being celiac safe, the food is EXCELLENT. Really interesting flavors and ingredients.

As others mention, no GF menu but staff were very helpful and supportive in clarifying what was GF and what could be modified. Delicious meal and great service - a nice place that makes you totally comfortable eating GF. I had grilled octopus, BBQ beets, charred broccoli and gnocchi for dinner.

My family took me out to Puritan and Company while I was visiting from out of town--best service I've ever had in a restaurant, period, and the most celiac empathetic and reassuring. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and explained exactly how each dish was made and modified. What made this place above and beyond (beyond the spectacular food) was the discreet but persistent reassurance that every dish placed in front of me was "celiac friendly." I had recently had a bad glutening experience and was even more fearful than usual, so this attunement to the seriousness of my condition helped me feel safe so that I could enjoy myself. Go, order the duck, eat the gluten free rolls, be happy.

Farm to table concept. No GF menu, but they're skilled at adapting items to be GF and no cross-contamination. I've been here several times & have thoroughly enjoyed the meals without consequences. HIGHLY recommended.

They do not have a gluten free menu, but the did a great job accommodating my Celiac. We had the tasting menu with two other folks who do not have gluten issues. Every dish was phenomenal and the courses were either gluten free or they tweaked my serving to be gluten free. I felt well afterward too.

Puritan & Co features a seasonally appropriate, locally-sourced menu. I was able to have my food not only gluten free, but also dairy-free and canola/soy/corn/veggie oil-free as well. (They subbed for extra virgin olive.) Having called ahead, the manager stopped at my table to joke about putting "extra corn and gluten on everything" and went on to explain how his girlfriend has allergies and they've had to navigate restaurants with care. Waiters, staff and everybody were very knowledgeable and accommodating!

While they do not have a gluten free menu, they did a fantastic job accommodating my girlfriend, who has a gluten allergy. She had the pork chop which was cooked perfectly. Pretty much everything except the fried or bread items were gluten free.
