Love this place. If you don’t mind the long lines, or you are able to call your order in and skip to the front of the line, the Sunday donuts are the best. Gluten, dairy, and nut free. They also make cakes to order and have opened a Pushkin’s restaurant in midtown.

I had a great and pretty cheap turkey BLT with a no name! The bread was amazing and it filled me up all night before my date. Come early for the donuts because they were out by the time I got there. Also, the place is small and counter-serve and they have no bathroom or anything. Seating is outside which is hard on a hot day but there are umbrellas.

Great GF bakery. Tried multiple items and all were moist and delicious. Brought back a box of treats to CT. Like most GF places- pricey, but that’s expected due to high quality GF products. Worth it!

I love going here. It is the only 100% gluten free bakery in Sacramento. I love their bacon pesto breakfast sandwich and lemon bars. On weekends they have vegan doughnuts, my favorite is the glazed or maple pecan.

Delicious sandwich on tasty sub-like bread. I have celiac and am very sensitive, so it’s such a treat and relief to find a place like this (while traveling) where I can eat without worry.

My favorite 100% gf bakery (and I've been to lots). Donuts on Sunday mornings! Vegan sandwiches are delicious. Cupcakes are so good (French toast cupcake! Salted pecan! Chocolate coconut!). Sometimes I buy one for me and one for a friend but eat them both myself before my friend shows up....

I’m still drooling and my non-celiac fiancé cannot stop raving about how delicious it was! He is a baker himself and can’t believe how incredible the bread was! We each split the Poppy and Italian sandwiches and both left us wanting more! Super reasonable too!

Delicious baked goods. It is not a sit down place. Tried a variety and everything was excellent. Also got a sandwich which is one of the best I've had. Bread is airy and delicious! Bummed I missed donut Sundays. Highly recommend. What's awesome about this place is not having to worry about gluten, dairy or latex, everything tastes outstanding and prices are reasonable. Will definitely return.

Visited this bakery while in Sac seeing friends. I tried the No Name and it was delicious very moist with a sweet cinnamon flavor. I would recommend getting two of these because they're small. I also tried the blueberry coffee cake which was also good but had a saltier top half and a sweet bottom. Overall really great. Even my nongluten free friends enjoyed this place.

Update 4/4/2016: Pushkins is totally my favorite gf bakery ever now. Their cupcakes are super great now (chocolate coconut is my fave). They have real delicious donuts on Sundays. The vegan sandwiches rock. I can't wait until their restaurant opens. Update 9/18/13: I prefer gf Mariposa Bakery in Oakland, but Pushkin's is ok. Their cupcakes are always too dry but they look pretty and the flavors are interesting (lemon meringue!). Cookies and macaroons are great. Smores cookie is yummy too. I'm glad there is a gf bakery in Sacramento, but I have to wonder if the people who think this is the best gf bakery have ever been to Mariposa. Original review from 2/2013: Pushkin's is a dedicated gluten free and dairy free facility. They are new to having a bakery but have been catering for awhile now. They make cookies, cupcakes, and breads (like banana or zucchini). Many of their items are also vegan. The cookies are good. The one cupcake I tried was a little dry but the frosting totally made up for it. If they had chairs and tea, I would totally hang out here every weekend morning.

The breakfast sandwiches are great! I have never found a place that makes gf breakfast sandwiches...Pushkins does it really well! I have tried many of their baked goods and have not been disappointed. I wish they had more cupcakes. And it's pricey...as most gf places are. Those are my only two complaints. Great bakery and so happy to be close by it:)

The owners are super people! Olga and Danny are very nice and helpful, the treats they make are delicious and I feel totally safe indulging here. The cupcakes aren't the best I've had, but I love everything else, especially the Awesomes, the quick breads (pumpkin and Meyer lemon!), and their scones!! I haven't tried their sandwiches yet but I'm looking forward to it!

Yummy food! I'm GF, my husband is not. He enjoyed it as much as I did. (That's a good sign!) Their shop is cute, clean, and the staff is friendly. My only 'complaint' is the price. Wish gluten free could be less pricey. :) We tried the chocolate chip cookies, 'no-names' (which are basically cinnamon rolls), and the toasted coconut/chocolate cupcakes. I wasn't sure what we'd be in for because another reviewer had written that the cupcakes were dry, but perhaps pushkins changed their recipe? All items we bought were moist and tasty. And it was 3:30 on a Sunday. Great job, Pushkins! If we return to the area, we'll be back to try other items. I highly recommend this place.

I read about this great little Bakery when they had JUST opened, and my husband and I made the drive, because I was determined to check them out, since they were both Gluten Free and Dairy Free...and so am I... not by choice! What a treat! The wife of the husband and wife team that runs this bakery gave me all the information I needed on the phone to run right over...and when we did... I was in heaven! I bought one of each of about 10 different items, so I could have a variety to try...and everything was so good! Prices were a little high, but it is such a treat to have a GF/DF bakery. I only wish they were closer! We only manage to get over there when we go to Star Ginger for Pad Thai. The first time we walked in, she knew we were coming and had a little tray of samples sitting on the top of the display case, which I think they do often, but I was sooooo thrilled that there were actually crumbs around and I didn't have to feel like I was in "poison" territory! I hope this bakery does great! We're fortunate to have them in town!

Found out about this place via gf ap/ how neat is that? Dedicated gf bakery, just amazing. Word has it, they are expanding. If you need a birthday cake, you have to put in an order. I settled for cupcakes which was amazingly good. A little pricy, but well worth it for any special occasion.
