Allllll gluten free! This is very much in the "locals" area and a hidden gem. Lots of options and taste of food was good (didn't taste grainy)! If you are visiting Oahu, you will need a car to get here as it is not near/walkable to Waikiki!

Pu’ulani Aloha Bakery makes the best gluten free strawberry guava double layered birthday cake with guava frosting. My husband bought me one for my 50th birthday after I found them online when I did a search. The cake was custom made, moist, beautiful decorated, and tasty (our non gluten free relatives couldn’t even tell and one wanted seconds)

This bakery is a little out of the way but completely worth it! If you want cupcakes or anything on the sweeter side, you’ll want to call to make a pickup order. They were only open to the public Tuesday and Fridays but did a pickup Thursday. When we went during their public hours, they were got some strawberry guava bread, a cinnamon roll, and a turkey sandwich. Everything was amazing!!

It was awesome to be able to go to a dedicated gluten free bakery while on vacation! We ordered 1 basil pesto "bagel," 1 cinnamon "bagel," 2 cinnamon rolls, and the triple berry/jam cake. I almost didn't get the jam cake but I am so happy I did because it was my favorite!!! Unfortunately I tried to go back on Tues 29Aug and the bakery was closed due to the owner having a surgery, it sounds like they will be closed the better part of the next month.

This place is wonderful. It’s dedicated gluten free and they can accommodate other dietary restrictions. They have rolls, cupcakes, tea cakes, pizza, and so much more. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about gluten free places in the area and even let me special order baked goods on a day they were closed. Definitely a favorite place in Honolulu.

We popped in when visiting Honolulu and I wasn't aware she was closed that day. The owner happened to be in the store for pick up orders and she was so gracious to us. She gave us a couple of baked goods from the day before and heated them up for us. They were so delicious. She didn't charge us because they were a day old. She is the real deal for gluten free bakery items and I highly recommend.

they had so many options here!! the owner was extremely helpful in explaining what she had and the different allergens associated with each baked good. i ended up taking home a lot, but my favorites were the mango cake and raspberry lemon cake! the baguette and sun dried tomato pesto bread were also excellent, and even better if warmed up! i have celiac, and didn’t get sick from any of it! highly recommend if you are around the area!

Absolutely incredible! The owner is a wonderfully kind lady and so nice to chat with. We were there right as they opened and they cut up all kinds of treats for us to try. This place is amazing - the only dedicated gluten free bakery on the island. Everything tastes perfect (eg other gf bakeries taste “off” or textures aren’t right - not this place!!) We got the sweet bread, spiced cake, marbled cake, and everything seasoning Bagels!

The cinnamon roll was a perfect substitute for malasadas (the non Celiacs in my family went to Leonard’s). I’d rather have the Cinnamon roll from this place!

Check the hours since they aren’t open every day. Selection is best early in the day. Parking can be tricky. Totally worth it!

This place is a MUST! Delicious pastrami sandwich (it’s the only sandwich they offered when I was there) the pizza rolls were delicious as well! I got a cinnamon roll with icing and a brownie! My family enjoyed a variety of wonderful bakery takeout from the dedicated gluten-free Pu’uwai Aloha Bakery this morning! We sampled a combo sandwich with turkey, cheese, and roasted red-pepper on delicious focaccia-like bread; a wonderful, moist spice cake; a tender cinnamon roll with frosting on the side; a yummy snickerdoodle; and a slice of tasty, simple-style cake featuring delicious mango! Susan is a gem. I bought one of everything left only 30 min before closing and she sent me on my way with a bunch of free extras to try. She also told me to stop by at 7am on the way to the airport so she could send me on my journey fed. Then I mentioned it was my birthday and she got so excited to bake me a custom cake. One of the best experiences of my trip!
