Located in terminal A. At the front of the line, there’s a list of all their ingredients with each allergy (wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, and nuts). It has symbols for contains the ingredient, and may contain it (aka cross contamination). For wheat and gluten, you can pretty much have everything except the tortillas, chips, brownies, and BBQ sauce (see photo). Get a burrito bowl. All the meat is safe. Taste: 5/5. Choices: many. Knowledge of gf: 3/5. Service: 5/5 very friendly.
The corn tortillas for my tacos were awfully elastic so I asked for the allergen menu and sure enough, they are made with wheat. Also, the corn chips and everything else you'd hope would not be made with wheat, is. Only safe bet is a bowl, unless you are celiac, in which case you should definitely not eat here.
The staff did not know what options were gluten free, i went for the safe option which still made me sick. Not a clean kitchen be very careful if you go here, wouldn’t trust anything
My daughter has celiacs and this has become her favorite place in town. Excellent rice bowls and almost everything except their BBQ meats and flour tortillas are gluten free. The staff is quick to change gloves all the way down the line. She's very sensitive and hasn't gotten sick once.
Do not eat here! I have celiac and was hoping it would be a similar to experience to chipotle, but unfortunately here I am sick the next day. The girl at the counter washed her hands and switched gloves, but would not change spoons. Generally I’m okay without it, but apparently not this time! The supervisor on duty rolled her eyes at me when she tried to grab my bowl and I asked her not to because of the allergy - she had not changed gloves. On top of getting sick the bowl wasn’t even good! Everything was really dry and not very flavorful. Celiacs beware.
Third experience: Same as first, see below. Excellent awareness and desire by staff to accommodate gluten issue. My overall suggestion is to be very straightforward with your server and insist they respect your gluten issue. They do a good job, but you need to also be assertive (if needed). A safe and delicious place to eat! Second experience: Not nearly as gluten friendly. Lady at counter had no idea what Celiac, gluten, or wheat allergy were or the issues they cause. No change of gloves or utensils. I know what to eat to stay GF and safe at Qdoba. I doubt I'll get sick, but this experience was no where as good as my last at this location. My advice would be to be insistent about the need for GF. First experience: Fantastic experience. Told the girl at the counter that I had Celiac's and needed strict GF. She immediately changed gloves and got new serving spoons. The entire staff took this very seriously. The Qdoba website is also quite informative, but you need to spend some time looking around and clicking miscellaneous links to find it. Thanks SEA-TAC Qdoba.
Extremely unprofessional. My wife, who posted below, is celiac and ask them change their gloves. They argued so we left. When we called to complain, the night supervisor said that didn’t happen and said we must have gone to Quiznos. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never be coming through this town again. My wife didn’t eat because this was the only place that we trusted. What a mistake. The qudoba in our hometown is fantastic, but we are disappointed in the service we got at this one.
Although you can't have chips or tacos (CC hazard), they make an awesome bowl. Most meats and toppings are GF. You can download an allergen menu from the Qdoba website.
When they take my order they wash hands, use clean gloves and fill my order to the end.
My daughter loves quesadillas and we were worried about the kids quesodilla since their press isn't dedicated. one of the workers quickly jumped in and took over, wrapping it in tinfoil to allow her the quesadilla she loves without worry. most of their items are gluten free, although not the chips. Their allergen list helps navigate and the tinfoil was used from start to finish to protect her food.
Not completely Celiac Friendly, but they do have a gluten free menu with several options. Chips are gluten free except for shared fryer, so if you’re just intolerant you can definitely have them. They also have corn tortillas that are not fried so they are listed as safe. Tons of gluten free toppings and fillings, including the queso.
Qdoba offers an online list of gluten free items and notes that there could be cross contamination. Usually I don't have an issue but this location was a mess. No one really knew what items were made as gluten free and there were items all mixed up in their bins (e.g., tortilla strips in the cheese bin). It did not inspire confidence in the staff or, in the end, the food. I was disappointed.
Naked burrito. Tacos. Nachos. Salad. All amazing. Never gotten sick and I'm pretty sensitive. Almost all their stuff is gluten free except a couple of the marinated meats but the grilled chicken is what I always get and it's gluten free.
Staff was extremely knowledgeable!! changed their gloves,cleaned the entire counter, and used fresh veggies containers. Food was delicious!
I was pleasantly surprised by the gf options and the quality of the food . But best of all, when I told the server that my grandson has celiac she immediately threw away her gloves, washed her hands thoroughly, put on new gloves before serving his food. Excellent awareness.
Tortilla chips share a fryer with flour tortilla bowls. Otherwise, I believe a majority of the food is safe, but due to cross contamination of the chips, it is not safe for celiacs.
Delicious food, but the staff was only marginal on gluten awareness. Unfortunately they fry the chips in gluten, but at least they told me
So many gluten free options at Qdoba! Burrito bowls, loaded tortilla soup, nachos and queso. All delicious! A majority of their ingredients are gluten free. Check out their website for an up-to-date allergen list. This is a go to spot for anyone with Celiacs or gluten free. I've been eating at Qdoba for many years and never been sick from cross contamination. Highly recommend!
This is a great option for a quick meal.
My daughter is celiac so we get to go containers of shredded beef and cilantro rice then make burritos and tacos at home. Cost is under $3. We've never had a problem with the food. Queso and chips have been fine too. Since this last post, we regularly visit this location and the staff continues to do a fantastic job handling our food. They wash hands and change gloves as soon as you tell them you need gluten free. One time the lady assembling our order told other staff not to touch it, that she would finish it all the way down. They must have great staff training about cross contamination. Continues to be one of our few standby safe places in the area.
I eat here often. I am a sensitive celiac. Never been sick from their food. Just about everything is GF except Flour Totillas and fried flour tortilla bowls. Qdoba says to stay away from the fried taco shells and tortilla chips due to possible cross contamination.
Menu not clear, but go for a bowl. The meats, rice, beans, chips, etc are GF. Avoid flour tortillas.
