We stoped here for a late lunch and everything was delicious. They have a regular menu that has items crossed off that contain gluten. There are a lot of gluten free choices. I was also assured that there were separate fryers for the fries and chicken wings. We ordered the loaded fries for an appetizer, 10 wings (5 hot and 5 Thai something, can’t remember the name), I had the Greek chopped salad and my son had the bacon cheeseburger on a gf bun. Everything was very good and we would definitely go back again.
My daughter has celiac, and is always looking for wings and fries. Well, they don’t have an extensive gf menu, but they have salad, wings, and fries! Lots of their sauces and all dressings are gluten free. We have hot for the sauce and they were delicious!! She had no issues at all. They have a dedicated fryer for gf items.
Dedicated GF fryer NOW! They haven’t updated their menu yet, though. Separate prep space in kitchen. Knowledgeable staff and accommodating kitchen staff- you just have to make sure you tell them about your Celiac or Gluten sensitivity. They don’t make their own sauces or dressings so you have to ask them to check for Xanthan Gum, Guar Gum, etc... if you’re sensitive to them. They do have some sauces that are Xanthan Gum Free!!! I’m a very sensitive Celiac that is one happy chicken wing, homemade potato chip eating girl!
We went here based off of reviews. This restaurant is set up for one side as a dine in like normal with working staff, and the other side is more of a “buy here pay here” set up. So you essentially go to the counter order your food and drink, pay up front and take care of your self— which is what we opted into since there was no wait and we had a pretty big group.
The gf items are marked on the menu. When I went to order my food i let the young man behind the counter know I had a gluten allergy so I had a couple of questions about the menu. He was not personable at all and knew nothing about anything marked on the menu. I asked if the fries were in their own dedicated fryer or fried with everything else (they are marked GF on the menu) and he didn’t know— I had to ask him to please go to the manager and ask so I could be safe in what I was choosing. He seemed very annoyed at this point. He came back to let me know everything is cooked in the same fryer.
I opted for bone-in mild wings and a baked potato because I felt like it was the safest option to not mess up. The wings were good and I didn’t get sick.
The customer service may have been different if we were dining in on the other side or even had someone different behind the counter but I wouldn’t go back just for the simple fact of the way he was so annoyed by me and my 3 questions about the menu.
Great burgers and fries that we all enjoyed. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Fun atmosphere/theme/decor with sports cars hanging from the ceiling and food can be served in a cardboard car for kids. Perfect for adults and kids! Would definitely make the 1 1/2 hr drive just for this place!
I currently am an employee at this location and have witnessed firsthand how cautious the kitchen staff is with all allergies, especially gluten free. Although it may sometimes not all come out as marked, it is marked in the back as gluten free and then those markers are then taken out. Not all gluten free items are marked on the menu but we do have a dedicated gluten free fryer where wings, fries, and chips can be fried!! They're all so good and definitely very tempting to not indulge in while working!
