Marked menu options made us feel good about deciding to dine here during our stay at the hotel. Options were pretty limited. Only a house salad for an appetizer and no dessert options. Few both dairy free and gluten free options.
My partner had the smoked Gouda & bacon burger (without the cheese) as they have a GF bun; we’re pretty certain it was O’Dough’s brand, which is a favourite of ours. But thats the only GF handheld option.
My pork chop was really flavourful, loved the black currant apple sauce.
Pretty good selection of gluten free options. Not a whole lot that I could eat being gluten free and dairy free. For example they have a dairy free pasta choice but it’s not gluten free, or they have a roast chicken dish but it’s made with butter. So for me and my restrictions this wasn’t the greatest. But the salad I had with some salmon was excellent.
The Gluten Free items are not noted on the menu but the server knew exactly what I could and could not have (Steak, ribs, chicken, a soup, salads, pasta, etc). They have gf pasta and bread available. This is the second time I have eaten here. The first time I had the made to order Butter Chicken, they just leave the Naan or papadum off of it. This time I had the Steak & Blue Cheese salad which was beyond amazing!! I also had the Flourless Chocolate Cake for dessert. I am giving them 4 stars because they don't have the Gluten Free items noted on the menu.
