Review

The best Thai food you will ever eat! Read the reviews on their Facebook page. They’re voted Best of Skagit County year after year. This wonderful cafe is essentially a “hole in the wall.” It has 8 bar stools and no tables. The wait can be quite long since it’s soooo small, but it’s well worth it. They use very spicy peppers and will warn you that you need to order accordingly. My go-to Thai dish is Red Curry with rice, usually vegetarian. Rashawadee’s is the best I’ve ever had.

Vegetarian Red Curry with white rice (not shown).
The cafe uses peppers that have more heat than other restaurants. Customers are always warned about this and advised to order half the stars they are used to.
Three women work feverishly making every dish to order. Nothing is prepared ahead of time, except the rice, white or brown.
Raschawadee is a very small cafe near the Skagit Valley Food Co-op in downtown Mt. Vernon.
