We were staying a Colter Bay and went here for breakfast. The only things available on the menu marked GF were fruits and toast - so we asked our waiter thinking there would of course be more options. He was very honest with us (which we appreciated) and told us the only thing they have that would not be cross contaminated was a GF toaster and recommended that we go elsewhere so we did! Trapper Grill at Signal Mountain had a much better selection!

I felt totally safe here and my waiter was super accommodating. I ate here twice- breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, I had eggs with Udi’s toast and for dinner I had the soup and salad bar. They have only a few options marked on the menu but were willing to modify dishes. The soup of the day (black bean tomato and hominy) was the best part of the dinner meal- so good. The salad bar wasn’t super contaminated when I ate there but my waitress would’ve gotten me anything I wanted from the back. They did tell me that all their dressings weren’t gluten free, which I frankly doubt because they had balsamic vinaigrette, but it was super crowded when we were there, so I didn’t push it and enjoyed plain old oil and vinegar on my salad. Breakfast was safe too- they also had breakfast buffet with fruit and pastries and eggs and such, which had little markers on them declaring which was gf. I didn’t ask about the preparation of the hot foods, but since they can prepare them individually in the back you’d be able to eat a hearty breakfast. Only note is some of the wait staff can be clueless- my waitress thought other grains contained gluten, but she was super sweet and trying to be helpful. If you’re suspicious of what they say, just ask for a manager. Everyone was very nice. This place was better for breakfast than anywhere at Jackson lake lodge.

Ok option in area for sit down meal - gf buns and bread. No dedicated fryer. Seasonal staff needs coaching (didn’t realize macaroni salad was gluten).

Dinner and a Very nice breakfast! For breakfast, there is a side of GF toast, or GF toast is available with any order that includes toast. There is GF granola, and a GF main breakfast dish of delicious curried tofu and vegetables, with GF toast. Dinner sides include many GF options. The cheese grits were fantastic!
