The non-fried ethiopian dishes are all GF and the default injera is 100% teff, so also entirely GF no upcharge. I ordered steak Shiro wat and an additional vegetable (lentils). The mild is nicely flavored/spiced, and the spicy can get SPICY, I was warned, if that's your sort of thing.
Very causal ambiance, lovely staff. Highly recommended.
They also stock great bottled flavored lemonade (Calypso)- the purple one w guava and pineapple was delicious
This delightfully odd mixture of cuisines (burgers, sandwiches, breakfast, “south of the border”, and Ethiopian) provides something for everyone in your party. The genuinely authentic Ethiopian selections are DELICIOUS, often vegan, and can be made completely gluten free (without cross contamination) if you avoid fried things like samosas. Added to that, one of the owners appears to always be on site and the sisters cook the Ethiopian food themselves; taking much earned pride in sharing their hospitality and culture with diners.
