Fantastic!!! Visited this restaurant twice while in the local area, amazing food with a lot of options - menu says everything can be made GF. Owner is celiac so there is a dedicated kitchen for GF options and all GF dishes come out in red plates, so it is very clear. Big portions Great location for people with allergies and also for those without. Highly recommend.

99% of the menu can be made GF! The owner has celiac and everything is prepared separately. All GF items are served on a red plate. The servers will always confirm that the dish is GF when it’s brought to the table!!

My partner has allergies to gluten, rice, oats and dairy so as you may imagine, eating out for her is a challenge. The manager came over and told us they are a gluten free restaurant and they use rice or corn flour or a blend. He was very kind and went through each possible menu item she was considering and what would be safe and what they customize. Both of our starters and main courses were excellent as was the service.

This was the first restaurant we went to since my teenagers celiac diagnosis. We were very nervous to go out to restaurants due to cross-contamination. I have to say this is the most amazing experience. The waiter was very educated and reassured us about cross-contamination and how they have separate cutting boards to pots and pans, everything to make sure there's no cross-contamination. We were able to order almost anything off the menu to be gluten-free. The waiter explained to us that the gluten free meal comes out on red plates to confirm that it is gluten free. The manager actually carried out the red plates himself to us and also explained there was no cross-contamination. My son ordered the farmhouse burger with gluten free bun and said it was a 10/10! We are so thrilled to have a restaurant we actually trust and plan on going back a million more times.

Such a lovely place. Gluten free menu is extensive. Waiters are super clear and made me feel at ease. All I can say is GF fried dill pickles!!! I haven't found them anywhere since learning I was Celiac over 2 years ago. All of our meals were flavorful and delicious. I've eaten here many times without issues, but the last time I visited, I was somehow glutened. I always make sure to state "gluten-free" whenever I order and the server usually repeats it back to me like it's understood (and noted for the kitchen). The time I got sick, I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken and noticed that the gravy was extremely watery, which is unusual. I'm not sure what happened. It's possible there was a miscommunication in the kitchen. I'm definitely going to be more hesitant eating here going forward.

Amazing food!! Almost everything is gluten free or can be modified. All of the breaded items are GF and safe. Burgers and sandwiches can be served on GF buns and they have GF wraps as well. Possibly the best celiac-dining experience ever! While the menu says everything can be made gluten free, that I not actually the case with all the appetizers. The pretzels, for example, cannot be made gluten free. I ordered the Cauliflower Mac & Cheese, and the cauliflower in it tasted off. Very disappointing.

I was at first nervous but as soon as I realized they had the same owners as Burton’s I felt a huge sense of relief.

All of their fryers are already gluten free. Regular diners eat gluten free without knowing it 🙌🏻

I had the GF Meatball Grinder on a gf bun - gf onion rings and side salad. I never felt sick once and I’m super sensitive. Excited to have another place to eat safely!

Food not flagged, food not brought out by manager, plate looked like fingerprints all along the plate. Within 15 min of eating my bowl I was having severe stomach cramps. I should have known, the table we were sat at wasn’t wiped properly.

I absolutely love Red Heat! It is my go to for takeout in the area. My favorites include the GF nachos with chicken, GF Sweet & Smoky Chicken Sandwich, and GF Mac & Cheese! You can have the fries here as well!

We LOVE Red Heat!!! The food is always delicious. Like 95% of the menu can be made gluten free and there’s NO up charge for gluten free!

The food comes marked when ordering there or takeout.

The owner has celiac I believe and it shows. They have excellent options, protocols, and knowledgeable staff.
