They have a separate allergens menu that reads like an excel spreadsheet. They do not have gluten free buns/bread substitutes for the sandwiches. I got the pulled pork sandwich with no bun and substituted the potato salad for the baked beans and the meal came out just like I ordered and I had no problems with the service.
Not pleased with service, at all. Told server to make sure my order was gluten free, still came out with glutenated cornbread on plate. Second order came too quick, so worried they just took off bread and reserved. Had to explain again and, finally, received a clean order. Wasn't pleased with selection. Will not go again.
Gluten free menu with many items fromwhich to choose. I just wasn't blown away by the quality or service at this location. Excellent selection of GF, but there was a language barrier with many of the staff and they didn't seem to understand the gluten free issue.
Great food and relatively easy to eat here if you’re gluten-free or have an allergy. As always, they can’t guarantee no cross-contamination, but I’ve been fine. Stay away from the fried and breaded stuff, the gumbo, and the suffering sweet sauce. The meats and other sauces are fine. I’ve even had the catfish fingers, which are coated in cornmeal, without any trouble. But there’s plenty to choose from. Some of their waiters have been there for 20+ years, so they KNOW the menu. Highly recommended.
I'm friends with a bartender and he tells me what I can eat. I've never gotten sick from the food. I usually get ribs, twice baked potatoes, and green beans. I tell them to leave off the roll. I get a salad (tell them to hold the crutons) with avocado ranch sometimes, too.
For strictly gluten free this place is great, but being someone on the 6 food elimination diet I'm not sure they really understood my allergy. They assured me the BBQ sauce was ok, but I still question it. The server was overwhelmed as she was the only one working, so I may try one more time.
