So many gluten free and vegan options here. I got the vegan Mac and cheese and it was pretty yummy. I also had the creamy mushrooms as an appetizer. My partner who is not gf also enjoyed the options here.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I was with may daughter, who is Vegan, and after informing the maitre 'd of this fact and my celiac, we were immediately told that we could be accommodated with ease. I had a GF pizza with sausage, mushrooms, and basil, and it was fantastic! My daughter had a Vegan pizza. Also great. My wife, the "normie" was also delighted with her pizza!

They have three pasta dishes on the menu, and all are GF! No issue with cross contamination, since they don't use anything but GF pasta! As a kicker, we split a GF/Vegan brownie for dessert, and it did not disappoint. To top it off, the staff were warm and friendly, and it really made for a wonderful dining experience!

Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten and Celiac disease. The gluten-free pizza was one of the best I have ever had and the staff took the time to explain how they made gluten free pizza safe for those with Celiac. Highly recommend them!

Little precautions taken unless asked specifically. They did comply with using clean utensils when asked (I had already stated an allergy but had to specify clean pizza cutter, ECT). The gf meatballs starter is so delicious. Could have made a whole meal on that alone. I did order a pizza to go bc it sounded so good. I ate it later and did not react to either (celiac with DH). Gluten eating bf was also impressed with the meatballs (he ordered a sandwich so he didn't try my pizza). I had the Aussie pizza. Very good! Crust was very good. Toppings were great too.

This place is amazing! It's mostly gluten free and the staff is very knowledgeable. We ate the pasta, pizza and wings and all were just amazing. There is a 1.5-2 hour wait for takeout orders, so it's worth going in and enjoying the ambiance too.

Extensive gluten free & vegan options!! I indulged with gluten free meatballs as an appetizer and then ordered a 14” Balboa gluten free pizza. 10/10 recommend, especially for those with Celiac Disease.

So, we have had luck here before- all their toppings are typically GF aside from the vegan chicken, and they use separate instruments for everything. However, the oven is not separated at all.

The food itself was good- the red sauce was a little mediocre, but the white sauce pizza was excellent. The problem is that we’ve had 2 totally different experiences- when we first walked in for a to go order, zero issues at all. We ordered off postmates this time (called and noted on the order itself that there was a Celiacs person on this order, and they understood right away), but my husband got glutened anyway.

So, I’m sorry to say that it’s not Celiac friendly.

Same tongs, spatula, pizza cutters, etc used on all pizzas. Only one of the three employees in the kitchen wore gloves. Ingredients dipped into and spread by hand. Cross-contamination all over.

Top two gluten free pizzas I’ve had in San Diego. I felt fine after and it was DELICIOUS. The crust was crispy and chewy and amazing and the GF meatballs on the Balboa pizza were the best 😍

More like $$, especially on their discount nights. I ended up being persuaded by the waiter to get their macaroni and cheese, and it did not disappoint!! Wow, it was so creamy, rich, and delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try their pizzas! Their menu is clearly marked GF, vegetarian, and vegan

We chose to eat here based on the reviews. When we arrived, I let our waiter know that 2 of our family members are celiac. The waiter was not confident in his answers to my questions which is not okay. When serving someone who is celiac, you are the communication between them and the kitchen. Overall, the gf pizza was decent, but the gf quinoa pasta was over cooked and falling apart. I wouldn’t recommend this place for someone who is celiac based on the waiters lack of knowledge & effort.

I love this place. The pizza is delicious. The salads are good. Even their meatballs are gluten free! I used to get a meatball sub here, but I don't know if they still have gf bread or not. I've eaten here dozens of times and never gotten sick. It's also a really good place to eat with non-gf people. I hear their regular pizza is good as well.

Came here at the recommendation of the FMGF app after a long day of moving. I've been back three times in the last two weeks! I love the Cleveland pizza on gluten-free crust, and get it modified with extra red sauce and no cheese since I'm also lactose-intolerant. Service is great (especially from Nolan, who always reads my order back to ensure everything is exactly as requested). The server let me know up front when I mentioned my Celiac that they don't have a separate oven, so couldn't 100% guarantee against cross-contamination, but would take every precaution so I could eat safely. I have not had any issues at all eating at Red House, and am very sensitive to cross-contamination.

Soooo good! And I've never gotten sick. But I did notice last time I was there that the pizza is cut with the same roller than all the other pizzas. You could ask them not to cut it.

wonderful evening on the back patio last night! Saigon pizza was spicy and delicious. GF choices are amazing and service is terrific!
