There's another location at 233 Town Square in Wheaton, but the app won't recognize the address. Anyway, their yogurt is GF, corn free, and now they even have dairy free options! Add your own toppings, including fruit, candy and syrups (obviously cookies aren't GF). Flavors rotate every month and there's a rewards card so be sure to sign up for that, because you'll be hooked. They can make smoothies or coffee, too. Pay by the ounce.
I originally had a great experience here, but last two visits the staff are uninformed about gluten and don't seem to have access to allergen information. What's worse is that the last salesperson told me "nothing in this store is gluten free." Which is terrible because Red Mango is usually very g-free friendly. Bad marks for this one.
Red Mango is a tasty frozen yogurt shop on the campus of University of Southern Indiana. All flavors of yogurt are gluten free. Unfortunately, not all toppings are GF but they do slice some fruit (such as bananas) fresh for you so there's no cross contamination with that. You'll just have to see what fruit you can get fresh. Very delicious treat for those with celiac disease, gluten intolerance, or those who simply wish to avoid gluten.
Lots of GF yogurt options, just watch the cross-contamination at the self-serve toppings bar. I stuck to berries, banana and screened carefully the chopped nuts as they are near non-gf items. Ate here four times during our stay. A full cup with all that cost anywhere between $8 and $10.
most of yogurt is gf. be careful with any toppings
The workers are not knowledgable- at first told us nothing is GF. Then came running back out to show us everything (ice cream) is GF because it says so on their wall. Then looking at their flavors - they had a cookies and cream flavor with Oreo cookie pieces in it - so that one wasn't GF!!! They have an ingredients book - but it was difficult finding some flavors.
I love Red Mango. Many GF options. Too bad they closed! My favorite Frozen Yogurt place gone.
Toppings looked gross, lots of cross contamination. We didn't even eat here because of it.
Wish they separated the toppings better.
The yogart was good, but I felt the choices were limited.
be careful what you order, not all of the options are gluten free. I'd also be careful of the toppings and cross-contamination. They are willing to get fresh items out of the back so don't be afraid to ask if your favorite topping is nestled in with glutenous ones. Absolutely delicious, and with some care safe!
expensive but delish
