Red Oak Cafe

Saw that they were supposed to be gluten-free friendly so I stopped in for lunch a few days ago. When asked what their gluten free options were, the man behind the counter stated "bread." Well I figured there would be no harm in having a sandwich. Ordered the corned beef Reuben which was delicious at the time. But now, despite them noting I had an allergy, I am having symptoms of contamination. Wondering if it could have been the 1000 island dressing and perhaps just carelessness with cross contamination. Either way they should be checking ingredients for customers who state they have an allergy. I'm now very disappointed and sick :X

Service is slow. Staff is not well-versed in gluten free food even though they claim to be gf friendly.
