I really like going here. It is our date night spot. I get a turkey burger, cheese and pickles no bun, no sauce, etc. they have gluten free buns but I’m just so used to not eating a bun at this point why add the calories. I ask for fries to be done in the gluten free fryer. They have a good allergy friendly menu online. https://www.redrobin.com/allergen-menu. I used to order the veggie burger and thought they had issues but then I learned that it had gluten in it so it was really my fault for assuming things. Anyhow I like the service it is always really friendly and helpful. We go often enough we see the same servers so it has really become a great fit for us and our needs.
I ordered GF from here a few times with no issues in the past. I have celiac so I have to be careful. I ordered GF fries today and explained I have celiac and they need to be GF and made in separate fryer. The girl who took my order assured me they would be marked GF, severe allergy, and safe for me. I picked up my order and nothing was marked allergy (receipt or purple stick in the meal, which means allergy) so I called to make sure they were safe. Manager assured me they had ‘no seasoning’ so they were safe. I said I needed to confirm they were made in the GF fryer. He checked with the kitchen and they were not. He was not really accommodating, kind of rude about it almost as I explained the importance of a separate fryer for celiac individuals. I am so happy I took the time to call and ask bc I’d be in for a long night if not. Unfortunately I won’t trust eating there again.
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
Great place to eat for Gluten Free. Everyone is knowledgeable and there is a separate fryer. My daughter was thrilled!!
This place is amazing! I don't know why the other reviews are so harsh but not only do they have a terrific gf bun, they have a lettuce wrap option for their burgers and it's so good, I always tell them I have celiac and they are always so helpful about my fries being in a special fryer. Red Robin will always be my go to!
The server and kitchen were not knowledgeable about celiac. The menu is what it is and cannot be changed. Their solution or attempt to offer gluten free is to omit food items. This chain is basically a heat and serve for all hot food or open packet and serve for salads. Their gluten free bun is a dried hockey puck and not edible. I had a terrible reaction and am certain that the previous ratings are false!
I've eaten there many times and trusted it enough for my son who also has Celiac. They always bring the food out on a special plate. They have great GF buns and the fries are from a safe dedicated fryer. The only reason for 4 stars is a situation one time where I could tell my sons bun was not GF by the look of it. I didn't let him eat it and then they confirmed they made a mistake and took the whole plate back in a hurry. Always be vigilant - but mistakes happen and they owned up to it and made it right.
Unfortunately they can't seem to get take out orders right. This is the third time I specifically asked to have a burger with cheese lettuce and nothing else. Even said no pickles, tomatoes, etc. picked it up brought it home and it has everything. Called them up to make sure it wasn't wrong order and maybe not even gluten free and they weren't even apologetic!
This is our go-to burger place. We know we can always get a good burger and fries here. The waiter and the managers are always knowledgeable about GF when we are there and have never had any issues or gotten sick after a meal.
They can pretty much make any burger gf and they have a dedicated fryer. I've been there several times with no issues at all. In my experience the servers are not very knowledgeable but the chefs are. The bun I got was soggy so I just order without a bun.
I ordered the gluten free turkey burger and the woman who served it to me served me my meal and looked me in the eye and when I asked "are you certain this is the gluten free turkey burger" she said absolutely and it was not gluten free. I got sick for days. The manager was so sorry and gave us the meal free but I have celiac and I will never trust them again.
I can always trust Red Robin to deliver a safe GF/DF meal for me, and not have a reaction. This location did not disappoint! I am so thankful to get to eat their tasty French Fries, that aren’t contaminated by gluten and dairy. Jessica in the bar area is a pro, ask for her! Thanks, Red Robin!
Update: this has become our favorite place to eat out because of how amazing they are with handling it. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the options. We’ve dined in and ordered take out, and so far, she’s had no reaction to cross contamination
First time dining there since my girlfriend’s gluten intolerance diagnosis, and it was an excellent experience. They have a digital menu that shows which items are safe and if alterations can be made to make it gluten free. My girlfriend got a burger with a gluten free bun and fries, and she loved it. She said the bread tasted almost exactly like regular bread. It’s been an hour since we’ve left, and she’s not experienced any symptoms. They told us they would switch gloves and fry her food in a special fryer, and it seems they did a great job of preventing contamination
Really great experience. Knowledgeable server who put us at ease immediately. Red Robin’s allergen menu online is a little difficult to navigate and it restricts a lot of options. But, in person, the server was able to let us know that this location has a GF dedicated fryer and is known locally for doing great GF burger & fries.
