Came here a few times, always been solidly mediocre and always felt good after eating there. The service has gone downhill hard though. Latest trip I had my burger remade twice, first the waitress caught it leaving the kitchen and then I caught something else I substituted was back on the burger. My wife’s lettuce burger bun looked like a full head of lettuce. Likely won’t be going back to this location any time soon.

I informed my server that I have celiac disease, he let me know that they have gluten free buns, the fries are gluten free and they have a separate fryer for gluten items. I ordered the chicken teriyaki sandwich, minus the teriyaki sauce because we all know that is not GF and asked to please have my bun substituted for a gluten free bun. After the server walked away and put our order in, I heard him yell very loud to the cooks " I have a severe gluten allergy order coming back". My food came out as ordered and looked great, I will say that they do charge $1 to substitute the bun to a GF. I have not gotten sick so far and it has been 10 hrs since I have eaten my meal, but my stomach has been very loud and very upset. Not sure that I will trust eating here again.

I’ve eaten here a few times and haven’t gotten sick. I make sure to specify that I have celiac disease / gluten allergy and first ask what accommodations they make just to be sure the waitress or waiter is knowledgeable.
They have a separate fryer which is amazing! I have the gourmet burger and fries.

Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
I've been here several times and never gotten sick from cross contamination.

Eat here all the time with no issues. Don’t be afraid to iterate multiple times that it’s a gluten allergy and you should be safe!
Yes
Not safe for celiacs. I’ve been sick as heck the last 4 times I’ve eaten there. So disappointing
No
The allergen menu is awful to try to find what you can and cannot eat.
It's nice that you can plug in your allergies but it lists a few listed things that you can eat with the many things that need to be removed.
It's just a name of s burger with the list of stuff you can't have so then you have to find this item on the regular menu to see what is on the burger.
Other than blue and American cheese in this list you can't tell what cheeses are safe.
I can never tell what cheeses are safe because I can't find them.
Servers never know where to find this info and are not helpful.
I question how accurate this list even is because I also had soy listed as an allergen and items know to contain soy like mayo are listed as ok to eat.
If you are going to provide allergen info , make sure it is accurate and complete and train your employees.
Now I remember why I don't eat here.
They are safe when it comes to celiacs. Even use a different grill. But they have an online menu you have to look up and if you don't want to look it up, they give you an iPod from the early 2000s to use that barely works.
Yes
I have eaten here and ordered to go multiple times, always with a positive experience. Their allergen menu is great and very specific with which items are safe and which items can be altered to be safe. They also have a dedicated fryer for fries, a gluten free bun and their seasoning is gluten free. Staff is very helpful.

Staff seems to be knowledgeable about preparing gluten free food safely. Their fries are fried separate from breaded chicken and other glutenous foods in their own fryer. They have gluten free buns. They have staff change their gloves, etc.

I was surprised when someone recommended Red Robin as a celiac friendly restaurant, but decided to give it a try. Their staff seemed knowledgeable about their food safety precautions and had the manager oversee the process. Have eaten their several times without getting sick.
Still need to be careful about what surfaces you touch on the way in and out, and there are contamination risks, but overall have had a safe experience and a sense that the staff knew how to handle the food with care. Gluten free substitute options have been very good as well. Certainly nothing that takes way from the experience at all.
Only downside is ordering requires comparing the physical menu to the online allergen menu, though the allergen menu is at least interactive and has “swap out” options for ingredients that need to be replaced.

I had the cheeseburger and fries here and they were great! I'm also very sensitive and had no reactions. Our server was also amazing and very knowledgeable. I would definitely eat here again.

My first dine-out experience since my celiac diagnosis. Waiter took my concerns very seriously, took the time to explain the steps they take in the kitchen to prevent CC, and put notes in my order to ask the cooks to change gloves and what not.
I felt very taken care of, and the GF pizza crust was actually good!! Will def be back.
