*Update* I went here last night and they no longer have GF steak fries. It did appear when I looked through the menu the gluten free menu has gotten smaller. The service was good. Had to get steamed broccoli with my burger. Burger was great though! I have eaten here with no problems, their gluten free menu is on the redrobin app, however this red robin doesnt have free wifi. So your server has to ask permission by the manager to use a red robin ipad. Tonights server was treating me asking her questions about the steak fries like I was a idiot. food here is good not too great but you have to check and double check to make sure its gluten free.
the best. staff is well educated in celiac. very careful. cooks are reined. and soon to serve udis Gluten free hamburger buns!
Red Robin has gluten free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free fries. Please verify with your server.
Though they didn’t have a ton of gluten and dairy free options for my four year old celiac, the staff was knowledgeable and he did not get sick! He had grilled chicken breasts with a side of broccoli and mandarin oranges and specially prepared gluten free fries. I don’t think they really even charged us for all of it. Very thankful since we were on a road trip and it was the only option we could find.
I’ve been here before and explained my celiac .....they would put a purple ‘pick’ in the fries. Tonight I asked for fries gluten free. The first basket was ok. The second basket had the taste of onions, which I’m guess the fries came from the same fryer the breaded onion rings came from ☹️
Gluten free menu available. Delicious entrees to choose from! Highly recommended!
Had a great experience eating GF at this location. They have a dedicated GF menu and my boy felt good after eating here.
I was very pleasantly surprised how cautious they were with my food when I told them I had Celiac. They made all my food separate. They even brought my plate separate instead of putting it on the tray with the rest of the table. It was much appreciated!
I generally stay away from Ref Robin but my Uncle was insistent on going here while I was in town. He asked for he regular waitress,Denise, she didn’t seem to know much about Celiac disease so I ordered off the allergen menu and was very specific. I ordered the veggie burger because it is microwaved not put on the grill with everything else. I did not get cross contaminated, the food was good. I would go to this specific Red Robin again.
Management and staff are knowledgeable about celiac there is separate cooking area & fryer the gf buns are delicious
Very celiac friendly! All fries made in dedicated fryers. Asked it gluten free was an allergy or preference and took special care to make sure my meal wasn't cross contaminated!
Daughter and I (both with celiac) had burgers. Mine was lettuce bun, she had GF bun. We had steak fries and sweet potato fries (both in dedicates fryer). Ordered off of iPad that indicated which items were safe. Neither of us had a reaction.
Veggie burger in lettuce wrap & fries. Tested GF with my Nima.
The best gluten free burger I have had. And the fries are amazing!! I have eaten here dozens of times and never gotten sick.
I've eaten here a few times without incident. You can use the interactive allergen menu on their website to determine what's celiac-safe by filtering for "gluten." I usually default to their Impossible Burger on a gluten free bun, with a side of bottomless steak fries -- very scrumptious. I work for DoorDash, and Red Robin offers complimentary cups of fries for drivers when they pick up orders. These are also gluten-free, and they're one of the best perks of the job. (:
Food is tasty, but they most definitely don't put any effort into the allergen warnings. Ordered a burger with fries, making sure to note a gluten allergy and request the dedicated workspace. Server read it back to me, confirming he heard the gluten allergy part. Later got a fry refill (from the "dedicated gf fryer") only to find a chunk of breaded fried chicken in my bowl. Lo and behold, had a severe reaction an hour or two later. Pretty aggrivating considering how much they advertise to be care about allergy concerns. Guess it's nothing more than marketing.
This is one of the best Red Robin locations I have visited. The staff is always very informed on their gluten-free options and quick to point out that they have a dedicated fryer. They take Celiac disease seriously. I have eaten here several times now on trips back and forth to see family in the Chicago area and never gotten sick.
Front staff and waiter knew Celiac needs, very helpful with selections. I did lettuce based burger and fries (dedicates fryer).
This place is always amazing to me. Service is always quick no matter how crowded. They are very very gluten friendly and the plates are always labeled with a purple sticker. The staff is great and they never disappoint in the Dickson city location is one of the best in the chain. Guess you know how I feel I’ll be back again in as soon as I get hungry. Also never ever gotten sick at a Red Robin anywhere
Red Robin just changed their BBQ sauce. Now contains Gluten.
I have been eating at Red Robin a lot since I was diagnosed with Celiacs a few years ago. They usually ask if you're gluten free due to preference or allergy, and if allergy they change gloves and use a dedicated work station and fryer. There are many options to choose from including a gluten-free bun, and an online menu/allergy guide for reference. Note that some of the sauces contain soy sauce that is not gluten free, so be diligent when considering dipping sauces and burger marinades. Overall this has been a go to restaurant for my family.
They didn’t have GF menu but told me to look at it online. I was able to get GF bun and also GF fries. Will update once we are served!
Staff was extremely helpful. They bring you an iPad that has all the gluten free menu items. Food is on dedicated plates and all marked gluten free.
Tell the staff you have an allergy, they bring you an IPad menu that you can enter your allergy needs, and bring up available selections on the menu. They also have a separate deep fryer :)
Great place to eat for Gluten Free. Everyone is knowledgeable and there is a separate fryer. My daughter was thrilled!!
Was leery after previous 2 year old reviews but this RR totally gets Xcontamination risks. Didn't get sick from last night's meal. Would go back without hesitation.
Always love the burgers here so much, they make celiac or allergy orders in a separate part of the kitchen where they only make gluten free orders so there’s no worry about cross contamination.
Dedicated fryer for fries. Great burgers with gluten free bun.
I’ve eaten here multiple times with no problem, however, one time I picked up my order and the cup of to-go fries “for the drive home” were not gluten free. Otherwise, I feel very safe eating there!
Gluten free hamburger buns and dedicated frier for French fries! You have to look up the gluten free options online, though.
They have a great menu for not just gluten free, but dairy free too
The staff was very knowledgeable! Dedicated fryer for all their fries (sweet potato and regular) and GF buns! When the food came out it had a purple stick in it, the waiter told me that the purple stick means the entire kitchen is aware that this order was an allergy! Best GF bun I’ve had in a long time, didn’t fall apart in my hands! I was pleasantly surprised with my experience and we’ll definitely be back!
They were exceptionally helpful and the manager made my food himself!
My go to! Their gluten free buns are actually pretty great! Separate fryers- bottomless fries ya’ll! Staff is knowledgeable and receptive.
Just to clarify its only a dedicated fryer for the wings and only the mild medium and hot sauces are gluten free. The fries are not gluten free (shared fryer with other breaded things)
Love their GF burger options. They have a menu you can look at online as well as their own GF fryer for their fries.
GF burger buns and the fries are safe!
At a recent visit, I noticed that their fries were no longer listed on the company app as ‘gluten free’. I asked the waitress and she assured me that they do those in a gluten free fryer. I proceeded to order a GFbun (with a burger of course) and some fries. I spent the entire night throwing up and the next day feeling like I got run over by a truck. Decided to give them one more chance and the next time went much better...no issues.
Sadly, had to change my review. The waitress was kind and accommodating, but I think there must have been a miscommunication, because I was very badly glutened. :(
Staff are trained and knowledgeable at this location. Always receive great service and have not had a reaction in the handful of times I've eaten here (I'm Celiac)
There is a tablet menu that allows you to select your allergens. Then the menu is extensive! There IS a dedicated fryer for sweet potato fries. The staff was helpful and the food was delicious
I have celiac, and have been here at least a dozen times, and always been safe. The staff is all very knowledgeable and helpful!
The food is pretty good, and they have plenty of safe gluten free options. Staff are knowledgeable and careful. They have dedicated space and a color coded plating system.
I had a good experience!! I ordered a cider and a bacon cheeseburger with gf bun. I started to ask if the fries were separate. The waiter said "I got you. I'll take care of it." And he did!! My burger arrived on a totally different type of plate with a purple allergy warning stick in it. Allergy warning was on the order tag that went to the kitchen Ave on the receipt. I honestly got teary-eyed over it because I was a but worried when my hubby wanted to eat there (He should get to choose every once in awhile!) and eating out as someone with celiac, especially while traveling, I frequently feel like a 'problem customer.' It was so nice for the waiter to just catch on, handle it and not make me feel like a whiner. And, I was not glutened! 😊 I only marked 4 because the ketchup is Heinz and not certified gf and the fries were not super hot but, overall, a very good experience!
I have celiac disease and eat at Red Robin frequently with my Granddaughter. I have never had a problem and the staff seems gluten educated which is rare. I must change my review! I got a gluten bun in the restaurant and the manager brought a new meal. Then yesterday I ordered a take out and got a gluten bun. I called to ask since it had sesame seeds which the GF bun does not have. I had no lunch! It is chancy to eat here. I could have been sick.
I loved this place a long time ago. I think they changed management years ago though and I’m not fan anymore. They offer a GF bun and have an app on a dirty tablet you can look up other allergens. The fries are gluten free. I wish they still made their sweet potato fries. Other locations are much better; Better service and food.
yummmmmmmmmmm
Gluten free meals have a special marker and are delivered by a manager. One of my favorite places to eat out.
A separate fryer is used for gf fries. They have gf buns available, but I have done the lettuce wraps for burgers. The servers are very attentive to gf and usually notify the manager as well.
I eat here a few times a year and have had a good experience each time.
When I mention gluten allergies, I always get annoyed waitresses giving me the iPad and telling me “whatever is on the iPad is gluten free” and refuse to ask the chef any questions I may have. They told me they don’t have a dedicated fryer but seeing reviews that they do..wished their staff was more educated on it and didn’t act like I’m an annoyance. On the other hand I haven’t had any success eating here. I end up sick every time.
The staff was great and accommodating. It is nice that they have an app for allergies and plenty of options.
Gluten free options available here, would definitely recommend
