Delicious burgers and the fries can be made separately (and are marked). I either get the GF bun or in a lettuce wrap. A manager brings out your labeled gluten free meal.
If you want to know what is GF you have to go on their website. I think they'll give you a tablet set to their website otherwise.
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
The restaurant itself is usually great, and we've not had an issue with cross contamination. We were at this place in Grandville, a waitress was lovely though she forgot we needed allergy chili cheese fries, she apologized and let us know we'd be getting them for free. The manager brings the correct fries out, and smiles sarcastically as he says "I hope this LOOKS gluten free to y'all". So just beware of Bobby the manager that might give you sass.
I got a migraine shortly after eating a bunless burger and broccoli. The days following my digestive tract was not regular and I was extremely irritable/moody. Wish I had known to take activated charcoal then...
If you don't want to pay extra for Gluten-free bun you can get in lettuce wrap.
My 8 year old gets so sick after eating here. He gets a kids meal- burger and fries. I have a feeling it’s the fries as I just noticed they are not listed as safe on their allergy website. We are disappointed as we considered Red Robin as one of our safe restaurants.
UPDATE: Confirmed with managers fries are NOT gluten free. See email!
