Our experience was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions with confidence. He was fantastic as a server! We order the kids grilled chicken with French fries and ranch, which the server said was GF without even me asking. We will be back.
NOT safe!!!!!! No designated fryer - we called ahead and verified but when we got there our waiter said no and confirmed with the manager. The only sides that would work would be broccoli. Many of the topping also contained gluten, onion, bacon, pineapple -odd ones that we’ve never encountered before. We made it work but my two celiac kids were very disappointed. Staff were amazing- no complaints
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
Great dine-in experience! GF fries, sub GF bun, very kind and knowledgeable staff.
They warned me about a specific sauce not being GF when they brought fries to the table.
Staff carried my GF order out separately - did everything possible to avoid cross contamination.
The hostess gave me a card with their interactive menu to select what allergens I was avoiding. The waitress was helpful in explaining my options and that she would note in the order that I needed gluten free meal, kitchen staff would change gloves and take necessary precautions in preparing the food. Got a burger with gluten free bun and steak fries. Was a great experience.
I’m celiac, eaten here a few times. The last time though I got so sick while my family was eating their meal. Having to tell you family in the middle of their meal that we have to leave immediately it’s fun and is frustrating for all parties involved. I feel as though the communication from waiter to kitchen staff is non existent, however, this hasn’t always been the case. If I choose to try them again, I’ll make sure that I have no plans after eating.
Their GF buns are the best I've had since being diagnosed with CD. The never ending fries qre great too (if you can eat that much ). All 1nd all my first time here was worth it.
they have a wonderful interactive allergen menu online now! and they have gf buns! royal red Robin hamburger? yes please!
Loved how dedicated my server was. The allergens menu is now all online, which was annoying. But she let me use her phone. Very friendly and considerate of my issues. The bun was very dense, though. May try my burger wrapped in lettuce next time! Fries are in a separate fryer as well!
My kids and I all have celiac - my boys love the burgers (and the buns)! Now I prefer just the burger with no bun. We have been here 3 times and the service has been great :-) but make sure you have a server who understands the disease :-) the boys get the fruit cup for the side and I get a salad
Knowledge and friendly staff. They brought me a notebook that was categorized by allergens. Easy to use and didn't fluster the waitress. I would go back.
I had been meaning to try Red Robin dsince they tout having a "gluten free menu". What they have instead is one of those hard to decipher lists that hardly matched the menu. The waitress was great and tried her best. I noticed just bland, seasonless choices on the menu. She worked with me and we thought we found something good. When it came out the cook had freaked over having an allergic person. My burger was dry and flavorless. The toppings were microwaved rather than sauteed and were rubbery. The sweet potato fries were bland and in tiny pieces like I got the dregs out of an old bag that had been in the freezer too long. I don't plan on trying Red Robin again. The only thing they got points for was not making me sick.
I can always trust Red Robin to deliver a safe GF/DF meal for me, and not have a reaction. This location did not disappoint! I am so thankful to get to eat their tasty French Fries, that aren’t contaminated by gluten and dairy. Jessica in the bar area is a pro, ask for her! Thanks, Red Robin!
Update: this has become our favorite place to eat out because of how amazing they are with handling it. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the options. We’ve dined in and ordered take out, and so far, she’s had no reaction to cross contamination
First time dining there since my girlfriend’s gluten intolerance diagnosis, and it was an excellent experience. They have a digital menu that shows which items are safe and if alterations can be made to make it gluten free. My girlfriend got a burger with a gluten free bun and fries, and she loved it. She said the bread tasted almost exactly like regular bread. It’s been an hour since we’ve left, and she’s not experienced any symptoms. They told us they would switch gloves and fry her food in a special fryer, and it seems they did a great job of preventing contamination
Really great experience. Knowledgeable server who put us at ease immediately. Red Robin’s allergen menu online is a little difficult to navigate and it restricts a lot of options. But, in person, the server was able to let us know that this location has a GF dedicated fryer and is known locally for doing great GF burger & fries.
