Both our server and the manager were knowledgeable about the menu and the kitchen procedures. The manager came out and explained how they treat gluten-free orders in the kitchen (separate utensils, etc.). They were very careful with my order and very attentive. They don't have a gluten-free menu printed but will bring you an iPad so you can view the menu online. Steak fries are fried in a dedicated fryer! Score!
Love this place! Plenty of variety and never had a reaction. Although my waiter had limited knowledge, the manager was very helpful.
great for when I'm craving hamburgers!
Found a fried onion string in my sauce.
I've never had problem here. Good GF bun and fries.
Wow! GF Bun! Delish Burger!
Wonderful experience! The bun tasted great and they have a separate frier for the fries. I was able to order and enjoy a burger and fries like everyone else at my table. When the rest of my family (not GF) ordered an app, our waitress automatically pointed out that it was not GF, which we already knew but was great for her to advise anyway. Then when she brought it out she brought some fresh fries for me to have something before our meal arrived. Very thoughtful.
The gluten-free bun tastes great and they also do lettuce-wrapped on any sandwich (same goes for the gluten free bun). They have a specific frier just for people with gluten problems. Just great food and service all the way around :)
I trust this place and the food is amazing! Make sure you check online for their allergen menu cause they don't give you the book anymore.
Great food. Have gluten free buns and dedicated frier for gluten free.
Never a problem. Love red robin!
Has Gluten free buns but I prefer the burger in lettuce. Make sure if you get fries to specify no seasoning. As is typical, wait staff doesn't understand gluten free. Ask for their gluten free menu when you go in.
Separate fryer! This location has special plates to indicate GF (many locations do this but it is not chain wide). Seasoning is unclear. Some say it’s gf, some not. Supposedly it used to not be and was changed to be. I’m really sensitive and i tried it and didn’t get sick, but try it at your own discretion
It was a Wed night and we had a 45 min wait! Guessing they were low on staff as 1/2 the restaurant was empty. Food wasn’t great. They seemed to know about GF. I went because their fries are GF. They weren’t hot and we never got asked if we wanted refills (bottomless fries). My daughters order was wrong and my husbands sandwich was soggy. Not going back!
I didnt die! Celiac's disease and had no reaction, I'm in town for the week for a conference and glad to be able to grab a burger and beer (cider). side note: they still advertise Omission as gluten free, DONT DRINK THIS BEER. You will be very sick
Waitress knew the answer to all my questions about GF options. Staff was friendly. Fries are fried in separate oil so they are celiac safe. Gluten free bun was average but meal overall was superb. Definitely coming back. I wouldn’t have thought of Red Robin as a forward thinking progressive celiac friendly place until today! 10/10
I’ve been a handful of times now and have never had a problem. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger on a gluten free bun with gluten free fries (no seasoning). I’ve heard from other Red Robin’s that you can have the seasoning but they withhold it just to be safe.
Told server and manager about intolerance. Got ill for 3 days and over Christmas from ordering the simply grilled chicken wrapped in lettuce with gluten free fries. Apparently the sauce they put on the chicken is not gluten free and the manager and kitchen is not trained to handle gluten free dining. They also brought me a burger with a wheat bun at first, and by the time I got my remade food, I ate alone. The boy who served us was very respectful and kind, however.
We've eaten here twice now and both times have been amazing. They have a separate fryer for gluten free and use a purple tooth pick to indicate that something is indeed gluten free. I'm really happy to have found a place with so many options and can accommodate the gluten allergy
I love it. Best buns in town.
They always get my order right and safe for me.
Super knowledgeable managers. Only place in town to get a GF burger & fries. They can even do GF chips & spinach dip, which has became a fav!
Avoid the Wilsonville OR location! Go to Tualatin location instead. The staff here treat you like dirt. They don’t give you gluten free fries even when you ask for them and when they bring the food out (40 minutes later) they don’t mark your order as gluten free and get a horrible attitude if you ask. The manager is just as rude as the staff, I’m sure that’s why they’re all so slow and rude. They do not take allergies seriously here!!! Waited 20 minutes for a glass of water and the table by me asked for silverware and the waiter just flung some down at them. The Tualatin location marks your order as an allergy order, never gets me sick and is so much nicer!
They are very accommodating. You have to request a gluten free menu since the regular menu doesn’t specify. The gluten free menu is actually an iPad and you select all your “allergies” and then it provides you all the options you can have including what modifications can be made (ie gluten free bun). Staff is knowledgeable and respectful.
We go once or twice a month. I check their app for gf options often as certain items are subject to change. Great to have fries (as they are fried in a dedicated fryer). We order ours a bit extra crispy. My favorites are the gourmet cheese burger, California chicken sandwich, and prime rib dip. I have seen times when the guacamole has not been gf, the caramelized onions on the prime rib sandwich, and a few other items, so always check. I used to get the French onion soup but that’s been off the gf menu for a while. I’m hoping that changes back again.
Red Robin is one of my favorite GF chain options. The Belden Village location is great. The staff is very knowledgeable, and every time they bring your plate to the table they indicate that it’s GF (including the bottomless fries refills). The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes the service is slow. Would recommend, especially while traveling and chain restaurants are the only option available.
Celiac Disease has made me really depressed about not being able to eat most of the things that I like. My friend and I went to Red Robin and I was very happy to see that they actually care about people who have food sensitivity. The gluten free menu has a good selection of options for people like me.. The burger was really good and the gluten free bun was pretty good too.. I almost forgot to mention that Red Robin also serves a brand of gluten free Beer called "Omission".. It's so-so as far as GF beers go, but it's definitely better than many others I've tried. Another option at Red Robin is the Hard Cider. Thank you Red Robin.
i’m celiac and extremely sensitive to cross contamination. i have eaten here multiple times now and haven’t gotten sick once! the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, the kitchen makes sure the gluten free food is made in a clean area with fresh gloves, there’s even a gluten free fryer for fries! highly recommend
Usually, Red Robin is the holy grail of GF stops for my fam, 3 out of 4 is gf. But this time I am so dissatisfied. We ordered 4 burgers, 3 gf to go. Nothing was labeled and I think all of them had the seasoning on it, that I can’t tolerate. I had to wait 40 min for the first batch then when I went in to complain it was going to take another 40 min. They’ve always been good when dining in, but I’ll never get it up go again
Good burger and fries. Sometimes they have been out of the gf buns so double check before you go if you really are wanting on a bun. I sometimes wonder about the dedicated fryer and have on occasion felt sick afterwards but not sure if it was due to that. Also note that if you are ordering GF To Go...they use a service to answer and take your order. They are not good about GF so I am no longer ordering to go from Red Robin.
Have not gotten sick at any Red Robin location, but staff competency varies significantly. At this location, I had to clarify the fries they brought me were the GF, and the response I got back was a little rude. But food was fine, and that's whats important.
Absolutely the best gluten free buns!!! Extremely friendly and very understanding of all 8 common allergens! Had no complaints about any extra questions I had! They have an amazing interactive menu in store and online for anyone with allergies. I personally enjoyed it so much that I drive 45 minutes to eat there 2 days in a row.
Separate menu. Bun for burger isn’t that bad. Fries were made in separate fryer. All good!
