Red Robin is my go to place when I have a taste for a cheese burger. My wife and I have eaten there a minimum of ten times since my diagnosis of severe gluten allergy. She gets a cheese burger and I get a gluten free cheese burger. Their fries are great! They have earned all five stars each time we dine there.
I have celiac and I was terribly sick for two days after eating a simple cheeseburger on a “gluten free” bun. My side was plain broccoli. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN A RED ROBIN AGAIN. IF YOU ARE CELIAC DO NOT TRUST THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!!!
The staff was awesome and the server seemed to reassure me that they do use a separate fryers for the gluten free stuff HOWEVER when I got home I was immediately sick and in pain for hours
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
I’ve been here before and explained my celiac .....they would put a purple ‘pick’ in the fries. Tonight I asked for fries gluten free. The first basket was ok. The second basket had the taste of onions, which I’m guess the fries came from the same fryer the breaded onion rings came from ☹
Despite their advertising they do nothing to assist the gluten allergic patron. On top of that they argued with us as to our needs. Stay far away from this place.
We called ahead and the staff was extremely unhelpful and gave mixed information. They argued with me when I told them what their site stated. I would not risk it.
great hamburgers and the gf bun tastes real. One of my go to places to eat yum
Always delicious and lots of options. My favorite is that they have a dedicated fryer so their fries are GF. They fries are delicious and the seasoning they put on top is also GF! Love this place!
I have two young sons, one with celiac. It is hard to find a restaurant that everybody likes to eat at. This is one of our local regular restaurants that understands cross contact and has protocols. It’s important to ask questions every time you go, and ensure that your waiter or waitress understands as well. Sometimes, newer employees, or those who don’t understand about these dietary restrictions, need a little bit of education to keep you safe. We’ve eaten here many times.
I did not order. Very few things other than salad, gluten free buns but couldn't promise no cross contamination and didn't know if burgers has gluten
The menu clearly says at the bottom to tell your server about your allergy and scan the QR code for the menu. The online allergy menu is by far the best I've experienced as of 2024. Once you dial in your entree, just read it to the server. Fries were offered to be cooked in separate fryer. Very safe and welcoming environment for those with food allergies. I had a bacon cheeseburger on their GF bun (VERY close to a regular bun) with steak fries and did not have a reaction.
