Used to be fine. Was always a great place to eat for the price of bottomless fries and drinks, plus rewards and fast service. I don’t know why but the past few times I’ve asked for gluten free burgers it’s come out with a gluten bun and all the unsafe ingredients that I know for certain the server made sure to put down as gluten free. It’s not worth it anymore.

Manager Santana does not take allergens seriously! She said cross contamination is not something people with celiac have to worry about and it's okay to have a gf burger prepped in the same station as everything else. Until this manager is gone, this RR cannot be trusted anymore! She laughed at us as she explained to us how wrong we are about celiac disease.

I have not gotten sick eating here. However, getting an allergy menu is somewhat difficult and their app never seems to work on my phone so that’s kind of frustrating.
Yes
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
I always have a good experience here. I've never gotten sick from their food.

Only been here once since diagnosis and had a good experience. Their GF menu is very detailed, but you have to ask for it. GF buns we're good, and it was nice to find a place where I could eat the fries as they have a dedicated fryer if you ask. Did not get sick.
Yes
Honestly this was the worst Red Robin I've ever been to. Typically they have separate fryers nope not at this one. The waitress also told me she had bad Celiac, which honestly I have to completely doubt after she told me shared surfaces and fryers are totally fine for people with Celiac. I ended up having a wedgie burger which was fine but there wasn't any of the protein cup (I didn't get the gf bread) and the burger was way over cooked. Our waitress disappeared too so that didn't help either. Needless to say as much as I usually love Red Robin we won't be back.
No
In my opinion I had a gluten free bun it was so dry I couldn't stand it honestly I tried asking for a different bun but they didn't have any. Also the fries they never told me they are mixed with other items with gluten so I was sick to my stomach.
Yes
I was glutened on every occasion we ate here. First was a salad with Allergy alert. And their *dedicated* french fries got me twice. Once, when I decided to have them because they HAD to be safe. Second, because when I let the manager know, she begged me to let her oversee a fresh batch and show me that I am safe there, Got me within 15 minutes still in parking lot. And my son had some too. He bled intestinally and got hives so thanks because Ive been to red robins all over the country and no issue other than Washington state locations. Never had issue on the East coast once. Stay away if you have to be safe.

Delicious food but really slow service. I mean really slow. But they are definitely accommodating with people with gluten intolerance. I have celiac disease and I've never gotten sick from here. Only go when you have time to waste, super slow service.
Yes
I've eaten here several times and gotten sick every time. Even when the servers were careful of the gluten allergy, the kitchen staff were not. Every time I come here they leave bread crumbs on my plate and drip sour cream on the food (even when it's "flagged" for a dairy allergy).
the server was so on top of making sure I got the best experience. she seemed super willing to go the extra mile and didn't at all seem annoyed or inconvenienced. great service will come again.
They will serve burgers in a gluten free bun or a lettuce wrap.
It was good
Good menu, good food, relatively knowledgable staff, willing to ask questions.
My first time at a Red Robin and I loved it! Had a burger and fries (gluten free) and they came with a little purple stick in it to indicate gluten allergy. Waitress was wonderful! (They also have pretty good ranch)

Notified server GF, ALLERGY. Ordered a burger GF bun. Fine until I quickly remembered that it had steak sauce on it ISN’T GF.
After asking this server about it, he didn’t know so he wouldn’t ask the chef and he didn’t know so he sent the bottle out to me. It clearly states that it has barley vinegar in the ingredients. Seriously disappointing that the kitchen staff is preparing “gluten-free food” and they have no idea what has or doesn’t have gluten in it.
Nice way to ruin the end of my trip. And will be sick for the next couple of weeks.

This Red Robin use to be my go to place. But the last two times I have been glutenized and got sick. I longer recommend this restaurant.

Always a reliable choice. Red Robin's online allergen menu is extremely helpful and in-depth, symptomatic celiac been coming here for many years and never had a problem. It's not fine dining or anything but it's about as good as it gets for a huge chain restaurant like this.
