Please keep in mind that I am a very careful, but non-symptomatic celiac. So I cannot speak to whether or not I had adverse reactions. BUT this location was eager to explain to me that they have a dedicated fryer for French fries and that the GF pizza has its own oven. It is not cooked along side the regular gluten pizza. Waitress was really reassuring and helpful. I had a turkey burger and sweet potato fries.
This Red Robin in particular is a big mistake for anyone with a gluten intolerance or allergy. I once sent a salad back because it had croutons, after specifically saying it cannot have croutons, and they returned it to me after picking out most of the croutons. The crumbs were still visible and the croutons at the bottom were still there. They took it off my bill. They have zero regard for food allergies.
Have a separate menu. Server asked if food needed cooked separately
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
Terrible place for celiacs. Every time we order from there they get the order wrong. Order a grilled chicken salad and get a crispy. Order a gluten free bun and get a wheat bun. They can't be trusted with the smallest details. Used to be good before the pandemic but now it is terrible.
Gluten free buns and sweet potato fries = no tummy issues! Love this place!!!
I hate to give places average reviews, but I want to be helpful to others. I love red robin, however I have gotten sick almost every time I have gone there. I order a piece of grilled chicken on a gf bun, with the fries fried in the allergy fryer. Although the staff has always been caring, I hate to think that cross contamination is occurring (at least when I order). I would try to avoid if you are extremely sensitive.
I can always trust Red Robin to deliver a safe GF/DF meal for me, and not have a reaction. This location did not disappoint! I am so thankful to get to eat their tasty French Fries, that aren’t contaminated by gluten and dairy. Jessica in the bar area is a pro, ask for her! Thanks, Red Robin!
Update: this has become our favorite place to eat out because of how amazing they are with handling it. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the options. We’ve dined in and ordered take out, and so far, she’s had no reaction to cross contamination
First time dining there since my girlfriend’s gluten intolerance diagnosis, and it was an excellent experience. They have a digital menu that shows which items are safe and if alterations can be made to make it gluten free. My girlfriend got a burger with a gluten free bun and fries, and she loved it. She said the bread tasted almost exactly like regular bread. It’s been an hour since we’ve left, and she’s not experienced any symptoms. They told us they would switch gloves and fry her food in a special fryer, and it seems they did a great job of preventing contamination
Really great experience. Knowledgeable server who put us at ease immediately. Red Robin’s allergen menu online is a little difficult to navigate and it restricts a lot of options. But, in person, the server was able to let us know that this location has a GF dedicated fryer and is known locally for doing great GF burger & fries.
