I’m not even slightly embarrassed to say I was teary eyed while ordering and eating — it was nice to have SO many GF options. Staff was incredibly kind and informative on their process. The batter is a mix of rice flour and chickpea and it was absolutely delicious. 100000% recommend their fried pickles. I will be back.

10/10 AMAZING! My mom, sister, and I went here and had wonderful food. We are all GF and this place blew our minds. We split everything and had fried pickles, cod basket-sub in a Caesar salad, and their loaded fries. Almost everything except for a few items which the cashier told us are GF. The loaded fires were mind blowing-they are French fries with fried popcorn shrimp, green onions, bacon, and parm cheese with a remoulade sauce. I can’t even describe the deliciousness! Run to this place bc it is a wonderful find!

Almost everything here is gluten-free. And they’re celiac friendly with the dedicated gluten-free fryers. The staff was very courteous in answering all my questions and they took my concerns seriously. And as an added bonus, the food was delicious!

This place makes me so happy! The fish and chips are wonderful and safe. I tell every celiac I know about it. It’s about a hour away for me so I don’t get to enjoy as often as I would like.

Absolutely the very best fish any where! My husband is not gluten free and he loves everything here. The staff is amazing and tries to learn your name and your "usual". If you have not tried Reel Fish you are losing out on amazing food!

The weekend walleye was so good that the next day I kept thinking about it. I ordered it fried. It wasn’t too heavy on the batter or greasy, just came with a crispy coating that sealed in the flavorful fish so that it wasn’t dry. The fryers are dedicated, so I had french fries with the fish.

Wow, the clam strips almost brought tears to my eyes! They were perfect in every way, crispy and light with the perfect ratio of clam to batter. The lobster bisque was also out of this world! I have never found a celiac safe seafood place before now that had clam strips. I absolutely love clam strips!!! I spent about $40 with the clam strip basket and the lobster soup I got to go plus tip. Not cheap or super close to home in Denver but I’ll make the drive and splurge on this place again.

Ate here twice so far. Food was terrific. Couldn’t believe I could have clams!!! It’s been over 11 years since I’ve had clams. Not shy to say it brought tears to my eyes. Totally recommend this place. We live over an hour away. Wish I could come more often. Very casual inside. Wish it was a bit nicer atmosphere. Dinner was a bit pricey.

Stopped by Reelfish for take out and boy, was it delish! Almost everything was GF. We had the fish and chips (haddock) which are fried in a dedicated fryer. The only things in the restaurant that aren’t GF are the croutons on the salads and the bread for sandwiches, but who needs sandwiches when you have fish and chips? They are well versed in working with Celiac and making sure you are not contaminated-and I had no issues afterward.

Reelfish’s fryers are dedicated so all of the fried seafood, french fries, hush puppies, and even fried chicken that they do is safe. They once mentioned a head chef having celiac so they have the gluten items separate in their kitchen. I’ve generally had great luck with them when it comes to safety and I’ve never been sick, though one time I found something I could not identify in my salad (Caesar with no croutons). It was takeout on a busy night and I was already home when I made the discovery so I just didn’t eat it to be safe. I don’t think it was gluten-y but never got around to saying something to them about it so I never found out for sure.
Everything I’ve had on their menu has been tasty including the chicken which seems crazy for a seafood place. The only things I can’t recommend are the po’ boy and the lobster roll. The fillings were just fine but the gf bread they used was heinous. Flavorless, dry, cardboard-y. I’d sooner order without bread and stop by the grocery store to get an udi’s hotdog bun to put it in (and I don’t really love the udi’s buns either haha).

Pretty much entire menu is gluten free minus the burger options. They really know how to take care of cross contamination and always have the cooks change their gloves when doing a celiac order!

The cashier reassured me on all fried items and even double checked margarita ingredients. Excellent fish and chips, margs were mediocre. Non-Celiac family love it as well (including kids)! I am sensitive and had no issues. Can’t wait to go back!

Was so happy the first two times I visited. Fish and chips were delicious and GF. Then on the third visit I got sick, very classic gluten symptoms for me. I thought it might be a fluke, the one time they accidentally cross contaminated. So I tried it a fourth time, and sadly got sick. Celiac beware, something changed here and it’s not safe.

We went here again this week. It’s still fabulous. My mom isn’t celiac and is particular about fish. She loved it. They do have malt vinegar and some other items that are gluten, so make sure to ask since not all things are GF.

This place is amazing! I just moved here from the East Coast and I couldn’t even get gluten free fried fish this good at home! This is a blessinggggg and I plan to go here often! Also, can we talk about how great the fried clam strips are?! It’s been years since I’ve been able to have some!!

Fantastic fried fish and they serve Holidaily GF beer! Dedicated gluten free fryer. Worry free dining. I’ve been here multiple times and highly recommend it!

The prices are steep---20 for a fast casual restaurant. But to pay for fried shrimp, clam chowder, fried fish, and fried clams, it is a regular gf unicorn. And it was delicious.
The guy at the cash register stated that all the fried goodies are gluten free. In fact, he even said that they once had both gf and regular breading but they changed to all gf when they noticed it tasted better. That sounds unbelievable to me but I'm glad!
They do have buns for reg. gluten customers. And my SO got a salad with croutons on it. I didnt check to see if the croutons were gf. But what celiac, going to a gf fish and chips place would order a salad??? Not me.

Everything is gluten free aside from croutons for salad.
Everything is gluten free so no need for shared fryers!

Satisfying my fish and chips cravings! I'm glad they have GF and dedicated fryers. They might want to experiment with the batter though. Nothing wrong mind you, just that I've had fluffier GF batter.

Amazing delicious fresh fish! The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The the salad crutons are the only thing not GF on the menu. I had the fried walleye and it was the best fish I have had since I moved to Colorado many years ago. Amazing food!

Awesome dining experience! Staff was extremely knowledgeable and menu was diverse. Only non-GF items were croutons, if one wanted to order the Caesar Salad. I’m a celiac and had the fried catfish and fries with zero issues. Nice to know this place is around!
