This is definitely a place where you need to ask lots of questions, despite the fact that the menu is labeled. The marked items aren't always totally gfree - for example, all omelets are labeled as gluten free, but they come with homefries that are not, toast seems to be a shared toaster situation, that kind of stuff - and waitstaff is hit-or-miss when it comes to knowledge. I've had to push back on whether things are OK before. The good news is that everyone is nice/well intentioned, and as such very willing to double check with the kitchen staff and accommodate as they can, but you have to kind of know what to ask/what you're doing.
