We went to Aquarius restaurant inside the Renaissance. Very limited options for gf and did not get confident answers from the staff when we asked questions about ingredients. And the food was pretty average

I have yet to find anyone that truly knows what gluten is. No salad dressings are safe and I've only been able to find plain steak, a few sides like mashed potatoes and salad with oil & vinegar to eat. Very disappointing.

loved everything about this place. The adult hotel was great, the blue bar was fun and the staff was very attentive. Specifically, prince, Nelson and Jennifer. The food at the Aquarius was great for breakfast and dinner, didn't get there for lunch. The pool bar was great and the food was good as well. The private island was amazing! The food was good but drinks took a long time on the adult beach. The all inclusive is the way to go. The steak house was amazing, we went there 3 times and easily would've paid city prices for the food. Ask for Ricardo, he was great. The executive chef, Jose Dominguez, and his staff were amazing. I have coeliac disease and cannot have gluten or I will get very sick. Jose brought me into the kitchen and showed me all the gluten free food they have and informed his staff so I had a great trip and stuffed my face!
