RICE Healthy Japanese Dining

Best meal I've had in years. Every once in a while you stumble upon a place like this. This hits my sweet spot for a restaurant. Nothing pretentious or fancy for no reason. Just super high quality food, prepared with care and creativity. Every dish we had was excellent. Just the right balance of flavors and textures: not too salty, sweet, or strong. Everything cooked to perfection - fried mushrooms were just cooked enough on the inside but not overcooked, and perfectly crisp on the outside. The kabocha squash was the perfect texture. We loved the chunky cut cucumber dish, unique! Lobster miso ramen was so delicious and creative! Who has ever heard of that? So much I want to learn from this chef. Even the plain brown rice was perfectly prepared. You can taste the quality in the ingredients, probably local and organic. Service was perfect, just attentive enough without ever interrupting. Top 3 most memorable meals I've ever had. I get the sense the chef here could have Michelin stars if they wanted that, but have opted for a less stressful and pretentious operation. I'm so glad they chose this path. Truly fantastic experience. Had a wonderful date with my girlfriend!

Amazing!! Everything is gf I had such a hard time deciding what to get. First time trying ramen was unreal. Crispy rice and baked crab hand roll were so good too. Would love to get back here and try the sushi

Dedicated GF restaurant with a great sushi menu. The crunchy lobster roll and the crispy rice rolls were great. My daughter enjoyed her GF ramen with shrimp and loved that all the desserts are GF. We have celiac and we appreciate RICE for making so many delicious items that are gluten free. ❤❤❤❤❤

Rice was fantastic! Not only dedicated gluten free, but delicious! The standout was the lobster miso ramen (my first ramen in 11 years) and enough for two. The crispy rock shrimp and crispy rice sampler were also wonderful. Sadly no room for dessert. Seriously, this was the best meal I’ve had all year!

AMAZING. They had everything I could have wanted. I got spicy edamame followed by their sampler for their crispy rice and they were amazing. I got their shrimp tempura and wound up getting a roll with it as well. It's been so long since I've had shrimp tempura and it was seriously good!

We went out for dinner at Rice. Glutenfree menu, which is great for a celiac. Food was tasty, service was good. Being Europeans we consider the restaurant very expensive. Portions are also rather small.

Everything is gluten free. This place was so cute. The decor and ambiance was amazing but on to the food. Salmon carpaccio was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Sake cocktails. “Tempura” mushrooms with a vegan aioli. Fried sweet potatoes with another aioli. Sushi roll was good too! This place was awesome. We will be going back soon. 👍

So glad we made the trip down. The sushi is melt in your mouth buttery. We tried the nigiri, sashimi, and veggie tempura. Everything was outstanding, so delicious. It’s just so so so nice to eat somewhere with piece of mind, not having to worry about getting glutened! Cute outdoor patio with space heaters, we lucked out with parking directly in front. Good variety with vegetarian menu as well.

This place is a GF gem! The entire menu is gluten-free, so you can eat things you can’t have at many sushi restaurants - tempura, crunchy rolls, sauces. It’s a bit pricey, but to be able to safely eat anything on the menu is worth it. And everything is delicious!

Oishi !!!! The food was delicious. Ikura—- usually loaded with gluten in most sushi places— is safe and fantastic. The Orange salmon was sensational. The quality of the fish is outstanding. We will come back again and again.
