This remote mountain top restaurant is restocked via helicopter. The young staff are friendly and seem to enjoy their work(they have to hike here and sleep here for work). I would make plans for food prior with the staff. I was able to navigate the menu for allergens

I spent two nights there. We told them in advance that I am coeliac. They told us that they can‘t guarantee that it is contamination free, but they use gf products and try their best. I had soup, polenta with eggs, gf bread rolls, salad and chocolate mousse in the evening. In the morning they had gf bread rolls with cheese/ham/sausage, joghurt, nutella and jam (which might be contaminated, but I am sure they would have helped out). Staff is super friendly and the refugio really nice, freshly renovated with also smaller rooms and close to some via ferrate.
