Hostess said she has several GF customers who order the fajitas. She said refried beans and chips are ok. Also recommended the veg-chalada. If diet sensitive to cross contamination she recommended the veggies instead of rice and beans.
She said they fry chips on site in dedicated fryer and have separate grills if you let them know.
They have a gluten free menu which basically just lists the sauce options at the top of each section.
Crema sauce is not GF
First time I ate here and ordered gf, it was good. No reaction. Second time- had a reaction. I imagine it was cc or maybe something got in the friers. Or maybe the queso? I don’t know. I ordered off the gf menu and ordered the same thing both times but only reacted one time. Third and fourth time here- no reaction.

Unfortunately I didn’t have such a great experience at this place. Thankfully I just have a gluten intolerance and can be ok with some cross contamination but... I asked for the gluten free menu and order my Tacos and they came out on flour tortillas! It made me question everything I had ordered off the gluten free menu. Thankfully I can take an allergy pill to help with any after effects but it’s still disappointing

They have a large gluten free menu. Lots of options for me. The food was fresh, enjoyed the queso blanco very much. The fish tacos were good. I am very sensitive to any cross contamination. I waited nearly 24 hours before writing a review. No issues, and I will definitely go back. So happy to find a safe option in Weatherford.
I got sick here and on top of that the food didn’t even taste good. Disappointing.
I’m not sure how you mess up a frozen margarita but it was nasty. Food was also nasty, we had fajitas. Very little communication to if stuff was actually gluten free. Yes they have a big menu but there’s no way it’s safe. Pricey and a complete waste of money
Staff goes above and beyond! One even texted me pictures of the gluten free menu options so we could call in a to go order! Great food and service.
I REALLY wanted to love this place. The menu is fantastic and BIG. Other people have had celiac friendly experiences.
Here is the problem:
1. The lunch appetizer option came out with a flour quesadilla.
2. I sent it back explaining that anything that touched the “rat poison” must be replaced. Against stating this is not a choice but a true “allergy.”
3. All replaced BUT it came out on the same damn plate. Insert face palm.
I gave up and just finished my chips and left.
I will probably give this place another try with more emphasis and maybe a chat with the manager. I just didn’t have the time for another redo.
The staff was very friendly and instead of a paper mean I got a full printed gluten free menu full of options and how to make it correct for me. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. If I am ever back this way my family and I will be back!
YUM! YUM! YUM! The food at this restaurant is amazing! When you ask for a GF menu, you are handed what looks like a regular menu, instead of a crumpled piece of paper from a notebook. There are so many options that it was hard for me to read them all through the tears in my eyes!
I highly recommend this place for a safe and delicious GF meal! Bonus: Chips are GF too!
Huge gluten free menu! Their chips are gluten free as well as a huge portion of their menu. They are super accommodating and all their food is great! They even catered my wedding!
I'm impressed! Chips and salsa are GF. Chips were light, nice and crispy. They had a very nice menu with lots of options!
Staff is fabulous, I have not any cross reaction eating here. Have been 4 times so far.

The menu no longer gives details on gluten free. Our server could not answer any questions. The manager came over to answer. He said most things are gluten free except some sauces, tortillas, and a few battered things. I had beef enchiladas with queso because the chile con carne is not gluten free. It was fine. Service was abysmal.
Chips are safe. They have a separate place to cook GF items. Manager came to table.
Out here for a conference and needed a fun place to grab a bite to eat and between the reviews and their menu, this one looked like a winner and it absolutely was. It’s clearly a place locals love and our waitress was knowledgeable on what could be made gluten free and what could not. Marked it as such on my order so the kitchen team knew to take extra precautions too. Definitely would recommend popping by. I had the Vallarta Del Mar and it was super tasty!
We have been dining Gluten Free with celiac disease at Rio Mambo in south Fort Worth almost weekly since 2010. They have always been very careful and accommodating. Of course, some servers are more knowledgeable than others, but most servers do know how to take your order and mark it "gluten free" for the kitchen. They are updating their menu, so hard to get a hold of one of their marked up gluten free menus at this time, so ask for a manager. It has easily been the most reliably safe place for our family of 3 celiacs (1 who is very sensitive) to eat and not get sick for over a decade. Their regular table corn chips and the large rectangular ones served with some appetizers are all corn and are safe.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The chips have their own frier and all meals they will let you know what is gluten free which is a lot! We had a great experience and will definitely be back!
