Riscky's BAR-B-Q

Stopped here for lunch and there’s this “BBQ” location about a block down from the “Steakhouse” location both in the Stockyards. I asked for their gluten free menu which had lots of options either GF already or can be made that way. I had the fried catfish with a baked potato. Definitely tasty and if I were visiting again, I’d order it again.

They have a gluten free menu that’s out of date. I order chicken filet and got half a chicken with toast on the side, even though I said no bread and was assured it didn’t come with bread. The food wasn’t very flavorful either.

DO NOT! I repeat, DO NOT eat the mushrooms! It’s on the gf menu but It comes in a thickened wine sauce. After 2 “reassurances” that it was in fact gf, I still insisted on talking to the kitchen manager myself. And come to find out, the mushrooms are NOT gf. However, The garlic mashed potatoes and carrots are gf

Awesome restaurant! The waitress showed lots of knowledge on gluten allergies, the menu was huge and had lots of options! I had tasty all you can eat beef ribs and a salad! So yummy!

Pretty excellent gf menu. There seems to be some disagreement about whether the catfish, which is on the gf menu, is actually gluten free. Also there seems to be some disagreement as to whether the bbq sauce is gluten free. They should clear that up.

This is a restaurant in the Stockyard shops at the Stockyards in Fort Worth, TX. I have extreme sensitivities and I’m very picky about where I eat. This place is amazing for the food and the value! I’m not celiac but I have an inflammatory response to gluten. I’m feeling great! If you like smoked chicken, all you can eat beef ribs, or burgers, check it out!

Gluten Free Menu offers wide variety of no-bun sandwiches: pulled pork, brisket, beef, etc. Salads, sides. The homemade BBQ sauce was awesome. I loved the potato salad too. Green beans with ham wasn't listed on GF menu but was an option and delicious. Waitress assured me she personally watched them change gloves and that all precautions would be taken. I enjoyed a fantastic dinner and did not get sick. Im celiac so it would have been obvious. I will def go back!
