Wow! I don't know where to start! Incredible!!! I had the duck, and my wife had the lamb. Really out of this world!!!! Very impressive. Also the bread was awesome, and we had the polenta with beef stew. Freaking crazy good! This is one of the best places in Rome! Hell yeah!!!!!
The risoto was really good, maybe a little bit price but really good food, staff really friendly
Went for a change from two weeks of pasta and pizza, plus we love a place that's 100% gluten free. So many different flavours of risotto, it was hard to choose! We got the beet/gorgonzola, which was lovely to look at but lacked a little flavour. The pistachio & cheese was delicious. Only thing was that the rice had a bit of a bite to it - maybe that's the Italian way, risotto al dente? I'm just used to soft, creamy risotto at home. If I was here for longer, I'd probably go again.
The service was just okay. The wait staff wasn't friendly or very attentive. We were one of two tables at the time, so it's not that they were too busy.
this place is literally a hidden gem! a wide variety of risotto dishes entirely rice-based and gluten free! i got delicious house made rice cakes and bread for an appetizer, cacio e pepe risitto for dinner, and a DELICIOUS chocolate almond cake for desert. would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a light, safe dinner in rome :)
We had lunch here today & what a find!!! My partner had the Risotto with lamb ragu which he loved & I had the Arancini which was delicious!! Great GF bread served warm, all in all a great little restaurant in a small street away from the crowds. Very clean bathroom & excellent service too - highly recommend!! AIC accredited.
Such an awesome, hidden place!
Everything is completely GF.
We got some apps - a bruschetta trio, they were VERY salty which made us a bit nervous but when dinner came around they were perfect and almost lacking a little salt. I'd deff go back for risotto again though!
Like others have written, flavorful well presented dishes, good service, and 100% GF facility, so that is all great. Another highlight for us was the basket of hot homemade bread and rice cakes. I have never had a homemade rice cake, let alone one that is hot out of the oven — it was very good! We tried the pesto, lemon shrimp, mushroom, and the bacon/tomato sauce risottos and they were all excellent and a nice change of pace from pizza and pasta!
Loved the lemon risotto with shrimp. It was creamy and flavorful. The atmosphere was very nice. The place has character with brick walls, charm, and beauty. The service was attentive and sincere. I'd been to the location in NYC before so I was thrilled to find this location in Italy. Fantastico!
Delicious risotto. The whole restaurant is gluten free and a the restaurant owners family has a long history of growing the rice for risotto in Italy. We were offered gluten free bread and rice cakes upon sitting, and the risotto was delicious. Plus, the tiramisu was so good!!! I had a great experience at this restaurant.
