Excellent food and wine. Separate gf menu that was fantastic. I had the gnocchi with pears in a Gorgonzola cream sauce that was so good I might have cried a little. Delicioso!

Nice small restaurant off the beaten path. Food was delicious. I had the ravioli with meat sauce. My daughter has the gnocchi with pears and walnuts. We will likely be back again before we head home.

I had a great solo dinner. So fun to be handed an entire gluten free menu with so many options vs. picking through a few choices on a regular menu. Friendly service and delicious food.

As everyone else has already said - this is an excellent, reliably safe dinner spot. Their space is small (~ 12 tables) but very cute. Servers immediately ask if you need a gf menu when you are seated. My fiancée and I shared the beef carpaccio which was amazing with the fresh truffle. We had pasta dishes and shared cheesecake for dessert. Great spot!

I ate here years ago so I had to come back for more being back in Florence. We had the Salmon Carpaccio, Gnocchi, and Pistachio Cheesecake. They have separate gluten free menus and are extra cautious. There was so much on the menu I wanted to try, I’ll always come back for more!

I can’t even begin to explain how good this place is. Certified gf so I felt so safe. The table bread isn’t great but everything else was life changing. House wine was amazing. The lamb homemade pappardelle was the best meal I’ve had in Italy. Soft. Fluffy. Melts in your mouth. Just run there. We’re coming back tomorrow because I can’t imagine spending money anywhere else. Tip: if dining before 10 pm make a reso. However, if you have to wait they give you a hefty pour of Prosecco to wait outside They allow dogs inside which is a bonus to me.

GF pasta was top notch. The very friendly waiter explained that they buy their handmade GF pasta from a specialized GF shop in town. They do apparently make their GF gnocchi in house. (Didn’t ask about cross contamination since we ordered the pasta. ). The steak was amazing as well. All around lovely meal.

Lovely ambiance, incredible large GF menu with all other food allergens clearly marked, including sesame. We had GF bruschetta, sliced meats, spaghetti dishes, polenta with wild boar sauce, white beans. It was all delicious. Bread and pasta are homemade. A must stop (and make reservations unless you eat very late).

Very accommodating and the ambience and air conditioning were wonderful. I had the GF tagliatelle with wild boar sauce and it was amazing. My family preferred the GF bread to the regular, and as an added bonus, all of the desserts were GF. My family shared the pistachio cheesecake, chocolate cake, and tiramisu and all were excellent, the best quality and service.

our waiter was very proactive about gluten free and gave us gluten free menus and gluten free bread the bread was pretty good for gluten free bread. i recommend the minestrone soup but ask for parmesan cheese with it. Although the salmon was not for me it had a coating that I didn’t care for but my mom loved it. Overall it was good the bread and soup were great and I am very happy that they had a gluten free menu.

The restaurant is situated on a quiet street, with a romantic atmosphere. The wine selection is excellent. The gluten free bread was probably the worse we've had in Italy, way too dry. We tried a couple of different second courses - the wild boar stew with polenta was cooked in a tomato based sauce, very flavorful and soft. The steak with lard was cooked well, and was interesting to try but a little on the salty side. Make sure to make a reservation through their website.

Wow what an amazing meal! We came for lunch on our last day in Florence & are SO happy we did! The food was fresh, delicious & perfectly cooked. We ordered a fabulous wine & enjoyed everything we had! As someone who has to eat GF (celiacs) the Gluten free options were superb! Truffles on so many dishes, great service! A must when visiting!!!

Wonderful experience. Separate gluten free menu and all allergens are identified in each dish. I had ravioli for the first time in years and it was delicious homemade pasta. Definitely recommend. Another guest near us had a few different allergies and asked them to customize her dish and they were able to accommodate her.

Had a great lunch here upon arrival in Florence. There were plenty of gluten free options, they brought me bread and a GF menu right away. I had a delicious tuna salad, and beef carpaccio. I stupidly didn't realize the meat was going to be completely raw, but it was delicious! The house wine was good too. I would definitely recommend this place. My friends all liked their non GF meals as well.

YALL I went on this app to find me gluten free but I found LOVE. Let me tell you. First of all the food was AMAZING with a whole gluten free menu!!!!! With all the allergies marked. Really exciting. had literally the best gnocchi EVER and a really good zucchini salad. The staff was so friendly and they gave us multiple rounds of free stuff. AND did magic for us at the end. Soo much fun. Our servers name was genci he was great. Highly recommend.

This restaurant truly earns five stars. My wife and I spent four days in Florence and ate here twice. The staff is gracious and on their game regarding Celiac requirements. The pasta is delicious and I had one of the best T bone steaks I can remember. Do not miss an opportunity to dine here!!!

There was a separate Gluten free menu which the staff asked if we needed when we entered the restaurant. The restaurant is AIC certified and the staff had an excellent awareness of Coeliac disease. The food was excellent and we had a good time here. My partner had the ravioli stuffed with ricotta in bolognese sauce whilst I had thinly sliced grilled steak and potatoes (a Florentine delicacy). Both were excellent, the staff also brought out GF warm bread at no extra cost. Overall a great experience.

This restaurant certainly lived up to its description! The menu is huge! I was disappointed that they were out of ravioli, but the pork tenderloin in cognac sauce was amazing! My gluten free bread came separately from my friend’s regular bread. It was warm and delicious! The panna cotta I had for dessert was to die for! We loved this restaurant so much, we went back today to have minestrone soup for lunch, which was also amazing! Best of all, I have celiac disease and had no issues after eating my wonderful dinner! We loved this restaurant so much that we ate the rest of our dinners while in Florence here. Everything I ate was amazing including spaghetti with boar sauce and asparagus risotto. On our last night in Florence we each got a hug from our waiter!

Excellent GF food with a GF menu. Very nice. Great GF cheesecake!
Best GF I’ve ever been to. We have gone twice. They have a HUGE GF menu, and the food is homemade and delicious. Even my spaghetti was homemade. Their desserts are fantastic. First time I was able to have tiramisu. Such a treat! The staff even brought us a sample of limoncello after our meal.

Great place for an amazing meal. Gluten free menu with a lot of choices. Everything from gluten free bread to gluten free tiramisu. Don’t forget to have a gluten free limoncello!

We visited this restaurant based on the reviews and all the gluten free options. We were there at the end of their lunch hours and ordered one gluten meal and one regular. I needed gluten free and was happy when they brought gluten free bread to the table—until I tried it. It was typical gluten free “dry” and completely lacking flavor. We ordered gnocchi’s with gorgonzola sauce with pears and walnuts. The gnocchi were good enough, but the sauce was lack luster as well. A gorgonzola sauce should have a distinct flavor. We ordered gluten free tiramisu for dessert and that was very good. Good flavor and a definite repeat. The prices were in line with what other restaurants charge for similar dishes.
The service was fine, but as much as I want a restaurant that offers gluten free to do well this is not one that I would return to or recommend.

Great atmosphere , great food for me and also for my girlfriend that has celiac(gluten free ) allergy. You also should try the cheesecake that is amazing!!! Thank you Hostaria il desco.
