Rittenhouse Grill

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday, and we had a great experience. The atmosphere was luxurious — dark walls, low lighting, live piano. Service was fantastic. Our waiter checked with the chef on items he wasn’t sure were GF, and told the chef about my celiac. I got the 12oz NY Strip, my girlfriend got the 8oz Filet Mignon, and we split the escargots, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms. Unfortunately the Lobster Bisque and potatoes Au Gratin are not GF. We finished off with crème brûlée (on the house) accompanied by a live piano rendition of “Happy Birthday!” Really cute. Will be back for special occasions!
