Driving through from Massachusetts and had to stop and try Rizzos after seeing them pop up as dedicated gluten free, the food was absolutely amazing. I got two four packs for my Fiancé and I, it was perfect amount for two people and price was great! Definitely try the onion and bacon!

This is a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, which is awesome, The pizza tubs are a unique concept and very tasty. No need to tell anybody they are gluten-free. Just order for everyone.
This is probably also the most Wallet friendly dedicated gluten-free restaurant that i have run across, anywhere. Need a quick snack, pop in for a couple of tubs and be out of there for six bucks. For around ten you can be stuffed.
If we lived nearby, this is a place. We would probably hit twice a week, maybe more often because of the snack possibility.

Here at Rizzos Original Pizza Tub we are focused on the production of our product we pay close attention to making the most clean and now Gluten Free product possible by using only the freshest ingredients.
We are currently offering a new pizza product that is far and away different from what anyone else is offering on the market, our pizza is made with a seasoned Caputo Fioreglut Flour & our in house made Sweet Pizza Sauce, to set our product apart from anyone else we top our pizza with a Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese instead of traditional Mozzarella Cheese which gives our pizza a completely different taste profile.
For our Vegetarian conscious customers we made a Pizza Tub with Broccoli, Mushrooms & Onions and are planning on making a Tomato, Basil with Pesto Sauce Pizza Tub.

Dedicated gluten free, and the owner says that as of next week they’ll be offering desserts from a local dedicated gf bakery. The Pizza tubs are absolutely delicious (it’s among the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life if I compare the two), and they certainly will satisfy your pizza craving. It’s also SHOCKINGLY inexpensive. Basically $10 per person and you might even end up with some leftovers. Felt like I was robbing the place. Zero bad things to say about this food. Just be aware that it’s a takeout only place so don’t bring the whole family expecting a sit down meal!

I have had a fantastic experience here! The owner is extremely nice and always willing to talk about their whole process and why they decided to go fully gluten free. As someone with celiac, having this option is huge! Not to mention the taste, you would not even realize that they are GF. SO GOOD!

What’s a pizza tub? It’s like a deep-dish and a personal pizza had tiny little delicious babies! These are so fun and tasty - and I bet they’d travel well, unlike regular pizza - but we’ll never know because they got gobbled up too fast! The owners were absolutely delightful and made our whole evening. Make a trip over for some tasty takeout!

“They’re the best pizza tub place in the world” — 6 year old
“I think it’s the only pizza tub place in the world, but they’re still the best” - 9 year old
These are not your typical pizzas. No slices, no pies. It’s like a tiny little bathtub. Sort of a like a handheld pizza muffin?? Delicious homemade sauce.
This has been an incredible new addition to Hamden— and such an absolute bonus that they have gone EXCLUSIVELY gluten free for the whole shop. Have a child with celiac disease, and we feel safe understanding their process where they use Caputo Fioreglut (Gluten Free) Flour. It has wheat starch but is considered GF and safe for celiac disease.
It’s not a sit down place— but grab and go a few mini tubs and enjoy. Lovely husband and wife team making all of this from scratch. Three cheers for GF pizza place!
