Accredited by coeliac uk , there were only 2 items on the menu I couldn’t have. The staff asked whether we had an allergies / dietary requirements. When I said I couldn’t have gluten , they specifically asked whether it was an intolerance or whether it was coeliac. They were very knowledgeable and pointed out to me the very few items I couldn’t have. Luckily there were only two items I couldn’t have , and there was plenty of choice. I felt very reassured by their knowledge. Plus the food was absolutely delicious. It is on the more expensive side, so not somewhere we could usually afford to go- but a treat whilst we were on holiday.
Rockfish have a Coeliac UK Award for “getting gluten free catering right” and I agree - I have eaten here over a dozen times and never been glutened and it’s such a pleasure to have battered fish and such lovely salt and pepper squid - sustainable fish and so so fresh - “tomorrow’s fish are still in the sea”
This is a celiac accredited restaurant (wish we had this in the US more). I highly recommend this place for its service and attention to detail. The staff was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, answering all my questions about safety and the ingredients used in their dishes. I ordered the fish and chips, which were not only delicious but also prepared in a fully celiac safe manner. This restaurant is truly celiac-safe—the waitress was well-informed about gluten and cross-contamination, ensuring there were no issues. Deff a must-visit spot. Wish I could go back.
