There are a ton of gluten-free options :) let’s go Blue Jays
The gf chicken fingers are awesome. I wish there were more options. However you can get Tim Hortons coffee, ice cream, and popcorn to name a few things.
While in town we decided to hit up a baseball game. We went to section 109 and our kids got chicken nuggets and French fries which were so good. I would have liked some dessert options but we didn’t have much luck there. But there were a lot more options than a lot of stadiums we’ve been to.
Check the MLB website for latest GF info. I had read a review from a year ago, which stated that the York Market had GF options. They didn’t have much - just salads and fries - but there were lots of other options in different locations in the stadium. I didn’t get sick from anything and the staff seemed knowledgeable about celiac/GF foods. I was disappointed to miss out on GF chicken nuggets but didn’t want to take the time to go to a different section. They did have the glutenberg beer in the King section, which was good.
Went to Muddy Work after reading on the MLB website that they have a dedicated fryer. After asking, I’m told that they’re not sure, they might be frying chicken fingers too. Waste of 15 minutes waiting in line for nothing. At least Budweiser Kings Club has Glutenberg beer.
Go to section 109 - Muddy York’s. They have chefs there. They have GF chicken tenders and fries made in a dedicated fryer. They said they have a gf jerk chicken sandwich on a gf bun (but spicy). Also have gf nachos with some toppings BUT they said the cheese and sour cream have gluten.
The Muddy York offers jerk chicken on nachos or a gluten free bun, however they use the same toppings as they use for everyone else which runs a great risk for cross contamination. They also have fries which are apparently cooked in a dedicated fryer (a safer bet). They offer a gluten free beer at the Kings Club, but they very rarely have it! If all else fails—the popcorn is a yummy option!! Good luck at the Rogers Centre! May 18th, I returned to the Rogers Centre to a game that was far less busy! Again I went to the Muddy York after hearing rumours that their chicken fingers were gluten free. I asked the staff if I could look at the box and indeed the box said gluten free right on it! I asked what else is cooked in that deep fryer and was told that it’s just chicken fingers, fries, and tater tots(all of which are gluten free)...allegedly this is what is used throughout all of the food stands?!? I was pretty excited, and they were delicious:)
No gluten free options
Nickelbrook gluten free beer available at select vending stands.
Went to a Blue Jays game and was directed to a manager and she was very helpful. They build your sandwich in a different location and take great precautions. Took a bit more of a wait but worth it!
