very attentive staff, there are no markings but everything is made by hand so they adjust anything that you need. i have gluten, dairy, and egg allergy and i was not sick at all and was able to even try things that the rest of the table ordered and the waiter confirmed the ingredients in every dish he brought.
The server was beyond helpful! I told her I had celiac and asked if there were enough options for me to do the Restaurant Week menu. She told me exactly what to order, they brought me Tamari instead of soy sauce, and I got my own special GF dessert. No GF menu but there were knowledgeable, careful, helpful and made me feel included. No problems afterwards at all.
Staff and chef were extremely knowledgeable about gluten free options. I got the chicken teriyaki with no teriyaki and sub the baby carrots (cooked in butter with wheat) for the broccoli that was gf. The broccolini and finger link potatoes are both delicious and gluten free. For desserts they have this incredible matcha mochi pudding with caramelized bananas and also a variety of sorbets and ice-creams They also have gf soy sauce available. Only gf sauces they had were truffle aioli and the gf soy sauce. Also really good “roka” mule!
We went on NYE and they had the regular menu, but also a special tasting menu, which we got. They were able to change a few small things in the tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. My wife and I were blown away. The service was also spectacular. Our waitress(Donna) was attentive and gave great recommendations, and used plates were quickly replaced. On the tasting menu, we had some sashimi, some broiled lobster, some wagyu beef, and a bunch of other thing including delicious desert. Sauces were amazing. While not inexpensive, it was worth every penny. I did have slight reaction next morning, that was likely from dinner, so updated review to 4 star safety. Still worth it.
