Asked them about GF and they said they have pasta. I asked if it was cooked in the same water as their other pasta and she said yes. Gluten free for them does not seem to be about making sure the person eating the food won’t get sick. It seems more like a “thing” (hey, we’re gluten free). I won’t go back.
I got sick from this place, the server seemed really knowledgeable but I still got diarrhea afterwards. The pasta was over cooked so it got that gummy gooey consistency. I should have been safe considering the obviously gluten free pasta, but they could have messed up another allergy. I also don’t think anything I ordered was salted so things were pretty tasteless too. Overall pretty disappointing, but the ambiance was nice. The fryers are not gf either
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I am celiac and also allergic to dairy, and I brought my NIMA gluten tester with me to dinner. This place had gluten free pasta (cooked in separate water). I initially got the sausage pasta - the sausage is NOT GF according to my sensor. They were incredibly nice about the food having gluten. They brought me a whole separate meal - I got the steak which was far more expensive and they did not end up even charging us for it, just the cheaper initial pasta I had ordered. Furthermore, they brought me dairy free, gluten free sorbet on the house after dinner. The steak was amazing and the servers extremely kind. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
