Had a great experience here. There are lots of gluten free options on the menu.
I had a horrible experience here and would not recommend eating here for any celiacs or other allergies. After placing my order the waiter offered gluten free roti. I asked to confirm it was really gluten free since I was celiac and he confidently confirmed. When I went to pay the bill the receipt said whole wheat roti. I immediately asked the waiter whether this really had whole wheat flour in this item and he said yes but it was gluten free .. manager came out and also didn’t know what gluten was and thought whole wheat flour was GF. We had to educate the manager and waiter about gluten as they had no idea. The manager blamed his waiter for being new and took zero ownership for his lack of education about food allergies too. I unfortunately am paying the price now for their ignorance.
Delicious food with beautiful decor and the staff overall was very polite. I was offered a separate set of rice from the table. I am impressed with the kitchen since cross contamination seemed very minimal. Still had some mild issues but overall I expect could be safe for those with less sensitivity.
Rooh was very accommodating and helpful with celiac disease. They have an entire GF menu and they explained that they take cross contamination into consideration when preparing any GF item. I had butter chicken, cauliflower, scallops, avocado salad and for dessert, their home churned mango sorbet. The butter chicken and sorbet were my favorite. I highly recommend for anyone with celiac!
