The waitress was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free and what happens in the kitchen. My wife is hypersensitive to cross contamination. We had the chips and salsa. The waitress explained the chips are fried in a different fryer. It was the best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. Definitely will be revisiting.

They accidentally gave me a flour tortilla quesadilla instead of corn. Luckily, I noticed before eating and they made me a gluten-free one. While this was a stressful experience and made me lose some confidence, I did not get sick from the chips/guacamole or the quesadilla after. Just be care and triple-check with them if you need to! I asked twice when I ordered if the quesadilla would be made gluten-free.

My wife and I went here tonight for dinner. It was meh! The food wasn’t great (good enough) but nothing special. Food was pretty bland and didn’t have a lot of flavor. I had 3 enchiladas (I’m celiac), my wife had the Budin, and we shared the chips/salsa/guacamole. The guacamole was very tasty but could’ve been spicer. Ordered medium (for my wife) but didn’t have any kick unfortunately. The guacamole was the highlight of the food. Now keep in mind the guacamole was $16, which is over the top for price.

Personally, out of the meals we have had during the past 3 days this the our least favorite.

On a side note I have celiac and I DIDN’T get sick. So the food is safe but just not very tasty.

Awesome. i left feeling ill because of how much I ate. . It was all too good! The mild guacamole, made at the table, was perfect. . Our son had GF taquitos. . He loved the guacamole, rice, and beans. We went back to DC this year and had enchiladas and what the manager referred to as Mexican lasagna (chicken, corn tortillas, and cheese layers). Stuffed ourselves again. Only complaint is that there isn't one in our home town.

I had a really great experience here. There's a dedicated GF menu with lots of options. I ordered the suizas enchiladas with a glass of sangria and it was delicious. My husband (who can eat all the gluten!) wasn't impressed with his chicken nachos that were a little burnt but he really liked what I ordered. It was a little pricier than what we planned to spend on vacation for lunch but it was definitely worth it for the peace of mind and tasty Mexican food.

Food was fantastic! Chips were gluten free! I asked a few times and they reassured me they are fried in a separate fryer. I had the fish tacos and they were phenomenal. I was here about a month ago and I got really sick for 4 days because of this place. However I don't think I asked for a gluten free menu since we went for happy hour, and I thought the corn chips and guacamole would be fine. I am dairy free too so my choices are even more limited. It's because of how sick I got here that I am now very picky where I eat. Maybe down the road I will give this place another chance but not any time soon.

On more than one occasion I've had to sen food back because accommodations weren't made or were forgotten eg fried onions on a taco even though I ordered from the GF menu. Based on previous reviews I was looking forward to eating here because I’m from out of town. However, I brought my Nima Sensor just in case. The sensor saved my butt cause my test result was GLUTEN FOUND. I spoke to the manager showing him my result and when speaking to the chef he realized that they heat gf tortillas on the same burner as flour 😱 very glad I tested the food prior to eating even with the glowing reviews. I’ve had diagnosed celiac disease for 6 months now so this would have been awful had I just eaten the meal. The manager gave me the meal for free and made sure the replacement meal was made safely. Waiting to see if I have a reaction later. If I do I will definitely post on here.

We have been here a few times, some with my son who has celiac disease. He absolutely loves it here! So much of the ingredients in Mexican foods are gluten-free naturally, but here they make sure to keep a dedicate fryer so that all of the tortilla chips are safe! (I hope that my son will get to a point where he's happy to eat a salad with chicken but he's still young and wants chips & salsa when he has Mexican food.) Menu items are marked, my son has not been glutened and I would recommend this to others with celiac disease or any health reasons for avoiding gluten.

Since their options are naturally GF, they all taste the same! It's nice when items don't need to be modified so that your dish isn't smaller or different.

Went there because of all the positive recommendations. First waiter gave us corn crisp tortilla chips and dip- I asked for gluten-free and he said yes. Then another waitress came and told me it’s not gluten free if I have Celiac because there is cross contamination because they take the same fryer. Then we wanted to order Guacamole and had a bis discussion with what I should eat is (because we now made clear tortilla chips are not gluten free). So we ordered vegetables- they were disgusting and not really fresh. As main course I ordered tacos with pollo and asked for really being careful because of celiac. Half an hour later i felt very sick and with lots of typical problems... would not go there again. In New York and Miami at Rosa we always ate good and safe- not here...

Also witnessed interaction of the manager (I think) explain apologetically for a customer’s food being delivered late to the table; explained there was a mistake in the kitchen and would not charge the customer for the food because of the delay—incredible service!

I’m gluten and Dairy Free. After looking for dairy free on this app, this restaurant came up. The menu is clearly marked for gluten free, but not for dairy. And although they list the ingredients, they don’t always list dairy. I asked for no cheese on the main meal but didn’t know the zucchini noodles and beans and rice would have cheese on them. When our meal came everything had cheese on it and they told us they could not make that meal without the cheese. So I asked for the menu again and the waiter shook his head walking away. We re-ordered making sure there was no cheese. There were only about 3 options. I will give them points because the manager personally came to our table, explained what happened, and made sure our food was good to go and had the kitchen rush it out. It was very good in the end. Just some miscommunication.
