First of all the food is delicious. They are really prepared for people with gluten allergies/sensitivity. They also have a wide range of food for people who are gluten free.

Wonderful food, clearly marking gluten free dishes (most of the menu!). Ate there with my partner who has celiac and we didn’t have any problem.

EDIT: the menu options have changed, and things are marked "gluten-free" that are fried, and previously "gluten-free" options are no longer labeled as such. I don't know what's going on there, but I'm not ordering delivery before going back to the restaurant. I'd suggest you don't either. delicious food. only chose gluten-free options, as they were clearly marked on the menu, (ceviche, drool), and the portions were a nice, decent, size. I'm writing this review the day after so I can say with certainty that I did not get sick. even with delivery, seems like the quality I read about is still great

Mexican is a very convenient cuisine for celiacs so I was excited to give Rosa a try after my diagnosis. They have GF menus and information on line. Every store is unique though and you should always talk to them ahead of time. Our waitress assured me that the chips are cooked separate and on their own. The guac made table side is safe as well - just always ask them to use fresh utensils, gloves, and ingredients just in case. I always order the carne asada which comes with corn tortillas on the side but usually eat the dish without them regardless. Many other options to choose from!

Wonderful food and staff. Waitress, bartender, hostess, and manager were all amazing and so friendly. Food was fresh and great. Lots of GF items and a dedicated GF fryer. I look forward to coming back.

I’ve been to Rosa Mexicano a few times & it’s always been just okay for GF folks. However, last night I went back to try their updated menu which now has even more GF options than before AND their chips are safe to eat!! Wait staff took precautions & informed kitchen of my allergy (labeled “Allergy Alert” & “Gluten Allergy”) in red on the receipt. Just be forewarned that their portions are quite small, but overall great experience!!

A lot of gluten free options, I been here many times very safe for celiacs.

We have been here a few times, some with my son who has celiac disease. He absolutely loves it here! So much of the ingredients in Mexican foods are gluten-free naturally, but here they make sure to keep a dedicate fryer so that all of the tortilla chips are safe! (I hope that my son will get to a point where he's happy to eat a salad with chicken but he's still young and wants chips & salsa when he has Mexican food.) Menu items are marked, my son has not been glutened and I would recommend this to others with celiac disease or any health reasons for avoiding gluten.
Since their options are naturally GF, they all taste the same! It's nice when items don't need to be modified so that your dish isn't smaller or different.

GF options are marked on the menu clearly. Had the mushroom tacos because it was basically the only veg and GF option available (delicious). Guacamole was $15 which I found absurd. Chips and salsa were also GF, I was told by the server that they have a dedicated fryer for the chips.
Yes
Food was excellent! Our waiter was very helpful & guided me to great gluten free options. GF meals clearly stated on their regular menu. Had the queso fundido & pollo adobo tacos al carbon, which I HIGHLY recommend. Saw many tables around us order the table-side guacamole & it looked delicious!

I’ve been here several times and have never gotten sick. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They even fry their corn chips in separate fryers. I will definitely go back again.

Great selection of GF menu items. Everyone from host to server was very solicitous.

The food was amazing and separate frier for chips.

Gluten free options were clearly marked on the menu. Corn tortillas were delicious. Chips are also gluten free. I had the brunch and the breakfast tacos with potatoes were good. Portions were reasonable. Although I'm from Texas so I expected a little bit of a bigger size plate, but I realize this is NJ not TX.

Large GF menu, hard not to find something. Housemade corn tortillas and GF chips for complementary salsa. Fresh guacamole made to order. Solid choice for modern chain.
One if my favorite go-to places when I'm shopping. I have never had an issue. They do have a separate gluten free menu. The enchiladas are great, I would also recommend trying the elotes! Empanadas and flautas are good too. Anything fried has a separate fryer. Corn chips are made in house and safe to eat.
Yes
Excellent food! Tortillas are safe and they make guac right in front of you so you know exactly what's going into it. I've eaten here a few times already with no issues at all.
Yes
Nice options with many items naturally gluten free. I wish the wait staff was a little more confident in their answers when we asked questions, but in the end our very sensitive celiac son had no ill effects after eating there.
No
My favorite place for gf Mexican for many years. They are very knowledgable and careful with GC request at all locations. The food is excellent.
Excellent gluten free menu! I don't feel like I have to miss out on anything when I dine here. Love the atmosphere, food, drinks ... Just don't go on a weekend night, unless you have time to wait for a table.... can get very busy, but for good reason! Will be back soon and often.
I am a regular here and have never had any issues! Go enough and you may get some freebies! š
Read the reviews & it started out as a great experience. Server confirmed they could do gf, have a separate deep fryer and understood the severity of celiac.
Until they delivered the tacos with a flour tortilla instead of a corn tortilla listed.
Took one bite and knew something was wrong.
Wait staff tried to say I ordered the wrong item despite verifying multiple times that it would be gluten free.
Wouldn’t recommend.

So many GF options all over the menu!! Be sure to get the GUACAMOLE EN MOLCAJETE. It's made tableside. The pink chips (and salsa) are GF. I enjoyed the QUESO FUNDIDO (to die for!), CHICKEN SUIZAS (enchiladas), rice and black refried beans. The server communicated with the cook about my allergy and took it very seriously.

My teen has celiac and is both very sensitive and very anxious about getting sick eating outside the home. The menu is marked with GF symbols at all the safe items and our server, Alex, was clearly well trained and familiar with what was safe for our son. His knowledge eased my son’s worries. Everything was great!
