Not celiac friendly

Everything in the fryer is cross-contaminated. The only celiac friendly item to eat is a side of beans.

I took advice from a fellow reviewer and ordered the tamale plate with queso instead of chili, told em to keep the chip and tortillas....I got the melted Hershey squirts a few hours after eating😳😳🤔🤔I’m not celiac and am thinking it was bad tamales so imma give em a holler

The manager printed us a gluten-free menu to review but said there was no dedicated kitchen space. This is a tortilla factory so flour is floating throughout the entire kitchen. We didn’t think it was worth the risk even though the staff tried to accommodate.

Rosa’s is not GF. I thought I could order tacos with soft corn tortillas and be safe BUT last time I went through drive thru for the family I told them I needed my meal to be gluten free and the girl informed me that the corn tortillas pass through he same tortilla warmer as the flour tortillas. Ugh! Cross contact with gluten containing food is a problem for me as I have celiac disease. So anyone else with celiac or very sensitive to gluten, Beware!

Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I've eaten there several times and never been sick afterward. Try the crunchy chicken tacos. Yum!

Favorite tacos in town. I eat here almost every week for Taco Tuesday and I have never gotten sick. I stick with the crispy tacos or the fiesta salad, all the salsas are GF. Just skip the flour tortillas.

The owner has a grandchild who needs to be gluten free. We eat here regularly because they have been able to steer us to items where we can use a corn tortilla vs. wheat and articulate what menu items are gluten free. It is not a gluten free facility, but we have never had a problem eating here. The food is fresh and tastey and you can't beat the price.

Good is good BUT I've had a reaction 2 out of 3 times.

basically a fast food Mexican resteraunt with better decor. W ask about the refried beans and we're told they were not gluten free. they have chips and salsa like most Mexican resteraunt but you pay extra for them! Worst of all, the cashier did not know, what was, gluten free it not

Though they aren't celiac friendly if you can have soy this is an option.

Management really has no idea about cross contamination. When I go here (not by choice) with friends I eat fajita chicken and guac nothing else. I believe the manager said I could not have the vegetables because they are cooked with ingredients containing gluten

Their fajitas (beef and chicken) are gf and delicious! You have to check if their corn tortillas are fried with the sopapillas or not. It's a tasty place for fast Mexican food.

The tamales topped with queso instead of chili were excellent. Glad there is a fast, easy, inexpensive gluten free friendly Mexican place in Rockwall now!

Decent cheaper mexican food. I usually get a tamale platter with queso on top instead of the chili, with double beans instead of the beans and rice. Then I ask them to leave off the chip and the side of tortillas. There honestly is a higher chance of CC here since the staff are more into speed and such, but it is pretty easy to tell if something not GF was put on your tamales. If you go through the drive through, the food makers actually hear your order and get it right every time that way, since they hear you say leave off the chip and tortillas. Just check your meal before you drive away.
