Great food! Really careful to avoid cross contamination!
Be sure to ask for the gluten free pita...it's not the default.
GF Travelers coming to Chicago should look here for lunch. Short walk from union station and right next to Willis (Sears) Tower. Chicken, beef, salmon, chick pea options. Extra cost for GF pita but worth it.
Delicious food and the best gf bread that I have had! Run, don't walk to Roti!
Yummy big plate of food with lots of choices of sides - quinoa salad with my kebab was really good! Really only couscous was the only non GF option. Changed gloves to prep without my even asking...best of all, GLUTEN FREE PITA!
Amazing GF pita sandwich. They changed their gloves and told me what I could have, which was almost everything! I will definitely be back!
Great food and if you have a gluten allergy they will have someone with clean gloves put together your order.
This location was great - a dedicated person washed his hands and changed his gloves just for me and prepared my entire plate himself. They also have gluten-free pita, which they toasted on a separate hot plate. The food was delicious. I was seriously impressed.
awesome staff & food
I had a bad experience here. Bad customer service and I was given attitude. They have a GF menu but uneducated staff. They made me feel like I was a burden for wanting my food to be safe. Anyone who says it’s celiac safe has not watched how their serving utensils touch other people’s toxic flour tortillas then goes back into the food before they serve you. Cross contamination all over this place. I left upset without eating here. But it would be fine for those who are not celiac.
Not very clean saw them touching things containing gluten and then going for the products that were gluten-free my daughter has celiac and my husband this place would be very dangerous I don’t even think it was clean I walked out after walking in and just looking at what the place look like upsetting I don’t know how anybody could give it a good review.
Loved this place and as sensitive Celiac had no issues!
Great food, clearly labeled. Jason and Hugo were very accommodating, changed gloves without even asking. Great experience overall. GF Pitas are individually wrapped in foil.
I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was amazing! The crust was the best part! The manager came out to check on me to make sure everything was okay and assured me that they are very careful with the cooking process.
Very gluten free / celiac friendly. If you tell them before you go through the line that you have a gluten allergy, they’ll wash their hands and change gloves and take you all the way down the line. Most toppings are gf and everything is very well labeled. This is a go-to for me!
Very friendly for GF folks - most of the menu qualifies, and they also have GF pita that they toasted on separate equipment while wrapped in foil. Falafels were a little small, but tasty and had plenty of chickpeas. Quick, easy, and tasty.
The have a regular menu clearly marked with gf options and also a dedicated gf menu in stores. Most of the food options are naturally gf and all of the gf options are clearly labeled as you walk through and complete your order. They also offer gf pita, which they will warm on the grill wrapped in tin foil.
Frequented the chain's Washington DC locations. One of my favorite spots. They have delicious gluten free pitas on request. The Roti chicken is amazing. Quick food, customizable while they prepare it with all ingredients cued behind customer facing glass. Large selection, very high quality.
This place had all good reviews. However, I am super sick and glutened within an hour and a half of eating. I got the rice bowl, cucumber salad, beef, hummus, garlic sauce and roasted red pepper. They changed their gloves and all but still did not work out.
Clearly labeled and they have made improvements as GF has moved more mainstream. Pita bread is rare to find so I give them an extra star. Issues here are consistency of employee practices and cross contamination.
The food is really good and I would recommend any location but this one. This jerk with the long hair rolled his eyes at me and gave me attitude when I asked him to change his gloves. Totally not worth it. I will never come back to this location.
First time eating here I got the chicken roti rice plate. No issues. Second time eating here (today), I got a falafel salad. Totally sick tonight, incredibly sick. Sickest I've been since being diagnosed three years ago. Other reviewers say the falafel isn't GF, but the Roti menu says it is. I didn't even ask about CC because of the big GF labels on everything -- silly me. It's a bummer cause the food is amazing.
I got a sandwich and it was amazing. The waitress made sure to be the only one to touch my food to avoid cross contaminations. And she was very knowledgeable about what was and wasn't gluten free. Would highly recommend for those who are gluten free, but my mom who isn't gluten free enjoyed her meal as well!
You have to have someone help you. A lot of the food is gf , be careful around the yellow couscous and pita. They do have a gf pita that my daughter described more like a pancake. But everything is gf to go on top except the couscous. She had chicken and rice but they had a lot of salad options. Overall a good experience !
Servers change gloves, gluten free pita is delicious and price isn't terrible. Good lunch option. Potential for cross contamination with sauces since the spoons touch the non gluten free pitas, but overall they are cautious. Haven't gotten sick from eating here. Will definitely keep going back!
The menu is clearly marked with GF items. Without prompting, as soon as I ordered the GF pita, the staff changed gloves. The pita was double wrapped in aluminum foil before it was placed in the warmer. It was very good for GF fast food.
I was so happy when I found out that a Mediterranean restaurant was gluten free because they usually aren't. The employees are very knowledgeable and they cook the gluten free food in a separate area and insured there was no cross contamination. They even have gluten free pita bread, which was a nice surprise! I would defiantly recommend this place for people who need to be gluten free!
Rice is always half burned/dried out. Really ruins the meal. Meat is good. I alway feel tired and irritated after eating here though. Massive risk for cross contamination. Couscous spills into surrounding containers. The workers often jam the spoon of each ingredient into the pita when making sandwiches. It's not safe like chipotle where they dump it. They will throw the small pita on your plate so make sure to ask them not to.
