Knowledgable about celiac and cross contact. All their pastas dishes they can substitute with gluten free noodles. I’m celiac and felt very safe eating here! Didn’t get any reaction after.

It seems my experience here does not line up with previous reviewers. I do not think our waiter was careful at all. We ordered the prosciutto service and he knew o had a gluten allergy. They served the sides with the prosciutto (olives, anchovy, cheese and peppers) on a separate plate but it has gluten breadsticks resting on top of these. Thank goodness my husband asked if they were gluten free breadsticks or not. From there it just goes downhill. I had the chicken parm which was coated in rice flour - it comes with a side of gluten free pasta. I asked to have a different side instead and I was told no they can’t do that which wasn’t a huge deal but not very accommodating. Then when it came time for dessert our waiter was pointing out gluten free desserts and there was a budino and an ice cream - he then pointed out if I wanted to live on the edge I could have the cheesecake and eat around the crust. This was not a funny joke. It does not seem as though they are careful about gluten free. I did not feel confident my dinner was gluten free but I don’t feel sick yet..

I felt very safe dining here. The gluten free menu is large, and the waiter was very knowledgeable when I asked questions about meal preparation. Delicious authentic Italian food.

A bit pricey, but totally worth it! Went twice in a week, very knowledgeable and kind staff, they take good care, separate GF menu, lots of choice (except for desserts), great dishes. Did not get sick while very sensitive. Had chicken parmesan, pasta carbonara, Caesar salad, short rib pasta, and adapted vanilla gelato.

Excellent!! Amazing service, great GF options!! I had a wonderful Italian salad, crispy, Brussel, sprouts, and amazing chicken Parmesan that even had breading on it with gluten-free pasta. It was amazing. We even had a gluten-free dessert. I will definitely be going back.

I got sick after. There was nothing to indicate if the food was gluten free when it was brought out, so I was concerned since the food runner is a different person from the waiter. (PS: The Caesar salad is literally several pieces of uncut lettuce for $14. It was ridiculous.) They encourage sharing so not a great place if your companion(s) eat gluten.

The food we ordered was hit and miss. The octopus appetizer was phenomenal. The pasta I ordered was just ok. Seemed like Barilla. It was a good dining experience but I wouldn’t go back for the food necessarily. A bit overpriced for what you get.

Start with the Guiliana salad and then chicken parm!!! SO good. Pasta isn’t the best, but the rest makes up for it. Bills budino for dessert is also GF.

Extensive, separate GF menu. We had the burrata, octopus, cacio e Pepe (needed more pepper but the noodles were fantastic) and the Brussels. Our server was fantastic, the drinks excellent, and the food stellar. The octopus was the best we’ve ever had - not chewey and full of flavor! Highly recommend this place!!

Lots of wonderful gf options, including chicken parmesan. It's the best gf chicken parm I've ever had! I've gotten delivery from here many times and have never gotten sick.
I ate from here for multiple meals while quaranting and it is very delicious and didn't make me sick at all. Their gluten free menu is extensive and they alter most dishes to make them gluten free as well.
NIMA detected gluten. I ordered GF short rib pasta.

Some of the best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had! I have celiac disease and was totally fine after eating here. The only drawbacks are that it’s always very busy - you should definitely make a reservation and the staff is a little uppity - they’ve made it awkward each time I’ve come and not wanted to order much. They insist that it’s a family style restaurant and you should order a bunch of things- they tried to tell my husband and I we should order 6 appetizers...! So that’s annoying. But the food is good and safe.
Yes
Soooo good and the waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten free even when it came to the topping on desserts
Yes
Amazing pasta! Gluten free menu. Waiter knew exactly what desserts we could have and even knew we couldn’t have some of the toppings because it was processed in a facility with wheat. Super impressed. Highly recommend for those with celiacs

the food quality is pretty good, service and atmosphere is incredibly pretentious; we were treated like low class not good enough to be there

Amazing amazing amazing. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had since my diagnosis 5 years ago. Service is excellent, Celiac is understood and taken seriously without question, and the food is delicious! We had the Spring Veg risotto, Carbonara, Lobster Fra Diavolo, Burrata, Brocollini, Rice Pudding, and Chocolate budino. Everything came back gluten free on my Nima sensor. So delicious! Wish I had one near me. Highly recommend.

We visited Chicago for 6 days and we are here twice for dinner because once just wasn’t enough! Service and attention to detail were excellent. My husband is gf and they went out of their to provide a excellent meal both times! I can’t recommend this place highly enough! It’s a must do in Chicago!

The GF menu is quite extensive and there are a few desserts. I had the black truffle risotto and it was AMAZING. The staff were well versed in GF items. Those of us that had to eat GF would give them more than 5 stars, if possible.

Had the burrata (delicious) and carbonara. Such a great atmosphere and ate with no cross contamination. Gluten free menu with many options. Will definitely go back!

Amazing attention to detail. Many involved in serving and everyone was on top of making sure meal was served with no issues. Never had to ask or explain. Dedicated GF menu. Food amazing -a little pricey. Went New Years eve. Simply mention celiac member in party when making reservation.
Yes
Great gluten free pasta but TINY PORTIONS (at least of the pasta). Order yourself two. It’s like kids portions! No gluten free bread.
Yes
Had gluten free pasta and roasted chicken. Both were amazing. They have a separate gluten free menu.

This place was great. Must be from ownership that sets the tone of safety for people with food allergies and Celiac. Our server was excellent. Manager came to answer my questions and made recommendations on how to tailor my order to be GF. They just get it. Had a filet mignon without butter (which may be subject to cross contamination) and the garlic whipped mashed potatoes (avoid the Gorgonzola). Delicious meal. Did not get sick and was so happy that the entire staff took food safety and being strict GF so seriously. 6 stars if it was possible. They have a separate GF menu. I came here on the recommendation of previous reviewers and so happy that I did.

Best GF pasta in the land! Tons of options, knowledgeable staff.

The staff were so extremely knowledgable and took allergies very seriously. I was so impressed that I could have a delicious bowl of pasta, and I had no reaction whatsoever. If you are looking to speak to the manager, ask for Dan, he took lots of time to speak with us. The pasta was phenomenal and so we're the sides (which they also made gluten free). Highly recommend!

Huge gf menu. The food was delicious and fresh. GF pasta, best I have ever had!

Excellent and knowledgeable staff. Great food. Very happy.

They have a pretty large gluten free menu (printed up separately to make things easy) and very knowledgable wait staff. The garlic mashed potatoes were the most amazing thing I think I've ever eaten. The basic pasta ( momma depandes) was good. My 7 year old ate it along with the mashed potatoes and chocolate pudding and loved it all. It is still overpriced in my opinion which is why I cannot give 5 stars. The portions are extremely small for the price.I had the tomato salad appetizer (also gf) and it was literally two very small tomatoes sprinkled with cheese and olive oil for 10 dollars. Overall you pay for the atmosphere. Very hip and beautiful decor. Best for a first few dates and probably not a family of 5. Either way I enjoyed the experience and probably will get some of those potatoes to go before trips end!

best gf homemade fettucine and desserts! very attentive to gf diet.
Great GF menu (see website). Nice atmosphere - very modern/hipster. Food was great. I had lobster with fettuccini. A little spicy but overall great.
House made gf pasta. Lots of options and everything is excellent.
I had the beet salad and pistachio pesto salmon off the gluten free menu. Both were absolutely fantastic. The grand finale was the gluten free rice pudding with vanilla Gelato and cinnamon. ... WOW. It was so incredibly delicious
great place. waiter very knowledgeable about gluten free. good selection of gf choices. i am very sensitive and had no reaction. definitely going back

Overall a great experience - food, decor, service and music. Waiter was very knowledgeable about the GF options. All four of us had great food. Would definitely recommend our GF items - lobster caprese, bolognese sauce and the carbonara. All pasta sauces are safe and served with excellent GF fettucine. Will definitely go back.

AMAZING!!! Great food and great service! From the appetizer to entree then dessert all was incredible ❤❤ Lobster Caprese, Bolognese Pasta & amazing deserts!
Excellent food! The Bolognese pasta dish was spectacular!!
Outstanding! Waiter was very knowledgeable, in addition to a GF menu. The king crab fettuccini (gf) was amazing.
Everything I had was delicious. Favorites were grilled occtupus, pasta carbonara, and cauliflower. Some of the best gluten free pasta I have had. I am celiac and ate here without a reaction.
