The BEST specialty sandwiches. They change gloves and are careful when handling GF. It seems like they have a separate prep space for GF but they always lay down paper when prepping in non-GF areas. A place I love and go to often :)

I love the sandwiches here and the GF bread they use is big and yummy. They are always very careful and cautious when preparing my sandwiches. I recommend this place 100%, just make sure you tell them you have celiac disease so they are xtra careful.

Staff seemed knowledgeable of gluten free needs. Only one type of bread which was udis and not too bad.
Side note: asked for restroom key and the lady making sandwiches handed it to me then went right back to making someone's sandwich.. whole other issue there.
Yes
Great sandwiches! I’m celiac and have eaten there twice with no reaction. Definitely still has gluten free bread.
Yes
Delicious sandwiches! Most sandwiches can be made gluten-free. They have a binder with the listed ingredients, so they know which items such as condiments will be safe. This is nice knowing they aren't just putting gf bread on any sandwich and calling it gluten free. The lady at the front also confirmed they change gloves and clean the area. I noticed they do toast and slice the sandwiches, I wasn't sure about shared utensils, so make sure to communicate that when you go. Just fyi, they do have mini gluten-free cookies, too!
My 14 year old son has to be gluten free because of Celiac. It was the best sandwich shop by far. Oh also there was 13 people.
they no longer carry gf bread, even though their website says they do. Do not waste your time.
No
They don't carry gluten free bread anymore. Call before you make the drive. They offer lettuce cone sandwiches as an alternative.
2/20/15 Absolutely wonderful gluten-free bread!! Their sandwiches are hearty. Half a sandwich was plenty. I will come back anytime I'm in San Diego.
2/23/15 Update: Just had to come back before I left San Diego. I had a different sandwich which was equally as good and tried the tomato basil soup Yum! I forgot to ask if it was gluten free but it was worth it even if it wasn't. :)
Great Gluten Free bread. It is a treat to be able to have such awesome sandwiches Gluten Free. They have good salads too.
When we ordered Gluten Free, they asked us about wearing gloves and cleaning the surfaces prior to making our meal. That impressed me. Great food, gluten free and an awareness in the staff.

The sandwich was great. I really liked their bread.

They use gluten free foccacia bread which is amazing and better than that gross brown rice bread some people use. As a side note, they have sodas that are different. Shirley Temple, creme soda instead of a sprite. I was excited about that. They also included gluten free cookies.
This place has the best GF rosemary focaccia bread! They are very knowledgeable about gluten issues and try to make sure there is no cross contamination. They also have GF COOKIES! I've been told they will be rolling out a whole new GF menu soon!
