Very dependable options . They have printed sheets , some.staff knew this others didn't. So they need some awareness training of what is gf. But when we made it known staff went to check with the kitchen to ensure it would be gf . Steak . Ribs . Sauces . Potato and beans were our choices and no problems . It's on our always an option list and not just if all else fails .
The staff was very polite and helpful. The waiter was training but still knew to direct me to the online menu for gluten free menu items as their in house copy was not up to date. The salad bar was freshly stocked and had a delicious variety. My avocado turkey burger w/gluten free bun was delicious. Our kids also loved the French fries to the point we had to order an extra side to share. Highly recommend!
Had a very pleasant experience here while passing thru the area—it had been years since we’d eaten at a RT. A word of note—the allergen binder they handed me (dated 2023) did not match their online information. I was too tired to ask a bunch of questions so I played it safe and had grilled salmon (on both lists) but it was really good and I had no reaction. Based on tonight’s experience, I’d eat at another RT when I have the chance.
Very impressed with this location. I am celiac and have other medical conditions that I needed my wheelchair and service dog. They were very welcoming of everyone. Making sure I had enough room for my service dog as wheelchair. Very great knowledge of meal items and ingredients. Made sure that kitchen knew it was an allergy.
Yes. I received a gluten free roll for my sandwich. I requested grilled onion and the chef cooked them on a separate piece of tin foil on the grill. Accomodations were made for me so I felt comfortable eating gluten free here. My server Angel was an Angel and checked with the chef to make sure whether what I wanted was indeed gluten free. Staff was super nice. I have successfully eaten here at least 5X with no reaction whatsoever.
We explained 2 of us had Celiacs and specifically asked about prep (clean gloves, utensils, etc.) and were assured that was their practice. My daughter's dish was fine but mine was not and I was very sick for a few weeks. I don't think it was cross contamination. Based on the severity of my reaction, I think the meat had been dredged in flour. They were understaffed, charred everyone's food, etc. Probably just an accident but not okay.
