I’m also allergic to dairy and asked on the phone if their coleslaw was dairy free or not. The employee said “it should be”. I said that I needed to know if it was since I’m allergic to dairy and he said “we make it here from scratch and don’t add dairy, so it’s dairy free”. When I got in to pick up my order, I saw on the giant menu on the wall underneath the word coleslaw “contains buttermilk”. I told the person at the register to remove it from my order and told her why, and she was passive aggressive and rude about it. Judging by the way they dealt with the dairy issue, I have zero trust for them when it comes to assuring me that their food isn’t at the very least cross contaminated with gluten.
Sorry, but I would not recommend this place for GF. The coffee was good. It was. Nice little house. I chose the GF breakfast burrito without the GF tortilla. It was greasy with mostly what looked and tasted like frozen hash browns, a little ham, onions and a scrambled egg. I tried to throw up after because I felt sick.
super yummy food. As soon as you walk in the door, you smell home cooked goodness! Great bfast burritos. We well be back!!
While they have GF bread, they don't seem to know or care about preventing cross-contamination. When I asked if they grilled the GF bread on the same part of the grill with gluten bread, he said yes-- and told me that "it was so hot hat it probably burned off the gluten anyway" (!)
