Poor service, me and my fiancee called 3 times before attempting to go to their mccaysville location but were turned away at the door

We absolutely loved this place! We loved it so much we went twice AND ordered extra to bring home. We ended up going to both locations. Not only did we feel 100% safe with plenty of gluten free options, they were able to make a Cuban dairy free for me. They were even willing to wrap it to press it so that it was safe from cross contamination.

Over the two days we ordered the Cuban, the chicken bowl, the pork bowl, rice and beans, sweet plantains, tamales, and my daughter and husband had some rum cake. Everything was delicious and absolutely worth it.

I actually visited twice. The Blue Ridge location first and got the Ropa Viejo bowl which was hot and so full of flavor. I’m not a huge black bean fan but the Cuban beans were delicious and complimented the dish perfectly. Today we ordered from the MCCaysville location and I ordered a GF Turkey Cuban. I made sure to call right when they opened around 11 to be respectful not to stress out their lunch rush. They clean the machines and took care to wrap the sandwich before pressing. The bread wasn’t boring gf sandwich bread slices. It was a very tasty gf baguette style roll. About the same size as my family’s non gf Cubans. Which was a nice surprise.

I also ordered, both days, the Limoncello Rum Cake. It’s the perfect size, very moist, not gritty or grainy and has a very light lemon flavor. It is very decadent so a few bites here and there will fulfill that sweet dessert desire.

Pricing was very fair and the staff at both locations, as well as the (I assume owner), Facebook page are all extremely nice and very helpful.

I cannot wait to visit again next time!!!

My non-gf family also thoroughly enjoyed their food choices too. They loved the Cubans, potato balls, empanadas and sweets!

I love this place!! Great and authentic Cuban food. Many gluten free options, including desserts. They have an AMAZING gluten free rum cake!

Best place to eat in Blue Ridge and/or McCayesville. Plenty of DELICIOUS choices both for lunch and dessert!

Creates menus for Gluten Free diets. Although not a dedicated facility, precautions are followed to prevent cross-contamination. Gluten free desserts like rum cake, caramel flan, Flourless chocolate torte and meals like Cuban food bowls with roast pork and chicken. Also Cuban sandwiches made with gluten free bread.

They take precautions for cross contamination. It is not a dedicated GF facility though. They have GF Cuban bread and rum cake! They wrap the sandwich before it is pressed. Call them in the morning 10:00 or so in order for them to make your GF bread. They also have GF Cuban Food Bowls and several GF sides. Owner is super nice! 706-964-1300 They have two locations. I visited the one closer to Mccaysville.

OMG! This place is celiac friendly and totally delicious. You can get a gluten free Cubans prepared on a clean surface by a woman with multiple autoimmune diseases who avoids gluten herself, the most INSANELY delicious GF cakes, tamales, and rice and bean bowls. The service is incredibly friendly, the food is super gluten free and delicious. A real gem!!!
